Whatever happened to those big wide headbands? You don’t see them anymore.

The same goes for the rosettes and the big fluffy caps.

I’ve still got all of them at home. I’m just waiting for them to come back into fashion, so I can wear them with my Carna Transport jersey.

There was about 20 Down fans at that match , great times, on the mini bus I was on , anyone that was married was never allowed to go to a match again after that one .
I can remember the announcer with about 15 minutes to saying something like "can stewards open the gates to allow the Down fans out" or something along those lines. Only time I ever was actually half listening to the "voice" in the sky :D

Ah jaysus patrick. Those will never come back into fashion man dear. Sure they never were IN fashion in the first place. I've told ye before about that cheese you're finding behind the fridge at 3am

Who among ye were among those eejits running onto the pitch before the match was over?

I remember sitting in the stand thinking, ah jaysus the ref is going to abandon this. We’ve waited 17 years for an Ulster title, surely them bunch of eejits can wait another 2 minutes!! o_O

I think 15,000 last week heard about the "car running"
I might be sad Joe, but I can remember hearing the reg and thinking "shit that's mine!" - got a new car and the numberplate is similar. Then I remembered the fecker is electric. Worse still, it was at home and the brother was driving. Sometimes I wonder is @PatMustard sharing his late night cheese rations.

I made sure I waited before sharing my dumbness!

If I remember right the Saval lads had a big down flag in o Duffy terrace beside us that day.
With about 10 minutes left looked around me and they were nowhere to be seen.
God love them:p:p:p

Anyone discussing a quarter final needs to get real. We are going up against (arguably) the 4th ranked team in the country so we have to be real here. This is going to be a titanic battle and I really hope our management get it right. If we can get a win, our team is on the crest of a wave, if we lose, with a great performance, we can only be proud of team and management. If we get hammered and tactically destroyed, well, it'll be time for change.

We have beaten the All Ireland champions and that in itself is an excellent feat regardless of why Tyrone may have or not had available to them on the panel. Whilst it is a boost we have not managed to beat Donegal at all in the last 10+ years, if we are to remedy that then there will have to be one hell of a performance and management need to figure out how to nullify the Donegal attacking threat which they have not managed for a number of games now.
