I heard more horns blowing than booing at the match. But watched in back this morning and booing was picked up by the telly and commented upon. I’m no fan of booing either but is blowing horns ok when he’s taking a free??
Blowing horns are never ok, in any circumstances. They should not be allowed in through the gate. Hate those bloody things.

We had great moviation against Donegal & Tyrone
All of this booing chat from a Gerry Adams tweet ! I haven’t seen or heard any other notable person comment on it ?

IIRC Murphy scored a free from around the 45 in the first half to silence the boos, and that was the only time it was really heard on the tv, though may have felt worse in the stadium. It wasn’t a talking point by the commentators at any stage. Not supporting the boos (until we face Dublin, boo them out of the ground if we can), but some balance needed here
The dubs on the hill always whistle freetakers

I made that comment yesterday and was told I'm old.....I don't see a need for em at a gaa game. They ruined soccer games with em at some tournaments apparently but sure probably cheap so they are knocking en out fir a huge mark up!

There has been booing at GAA games for years. And Ive heard it at our games, both home and away, this year too.
There is a difference in booing a bad decision from ref than booing an opposing player when they are taking a free. The former is OK in my book as it is a way to show your feelings. Booing a player is just downright hateful.

Jesus men sorry for having a opinion, just because i don't talk too much on this dosen't mean i'm a student, been going to the games for a long time and embraced the tough times a few years ago

Armagh (2003), Galway (2001), Derry (1993) and Clare (1917) - one county is going to end their long wait for an All-Ireland final appearance.

Mad to think that we are the most recent out of the 4 , big difference between our last quarter finals in 17 & 14 is the last time we were probably only making up the numbers (although we done well against Donegal that day ) my memory is that only Forker , Ethan , shields, Grugan and Soupy were involved in 2014 . Sheridan , O Hanlon O O Neill and Crealey played in 2017

another one. Where is the definition of real armagh fan so I can read it and see if I qualify?
Would generally judge the real fans by those that appear all year round. There is no booing or horn blowing of frees at Mc Kenna cup or league games generally. The booing usually comes with the bandwagon ticket IMO.

Fair enough you have every right to your opinion and if your a genuine fan your welcome to the forum Personally i thought the silly stuff yesterday was a bit OTT and lets be honest there was also worse than booing directed at the Donegal players particularly Murphy . it happens at all games that true and if your on the Hill with the dubs you could multiply yesterday by 100 i know that . It was probably more noticeable as we had the majority in the crowd . Lets not blow it out of proportion as well I seen LOI fans scrapping the weekend so its tame stuff but i would prefer that we didn't do it . It shouldn't be a distraction from our win on here either lets enjoy our victory's we haven't had it so good in a while .

Did anyone notice a Donegal player trying to do McKay dirty? About the 334rd minute. mcKay, bravely, slid in to get the ball and got a dirty shoulder from a donegal player. Not sure who it was though
O’Donnell - happened right in front of me. Thought McKay was excellent. Patton also had a sneaky punch when out the pitch at Nugent. McGeeney saw it and was remonstrating with the linesman.

Nowhere near as bad as the insults you hear multiple times at every game being shouted at players

For me the draw is perfect. No matter who we where gonna get it was going to be a tough game. But Galway play alot like Donegal imo. On the booing of Murphy I don't like booing but the man did alot of stuff off the ball that riled the crowd up and that would of played a part. Rian was brilliant but a mention for Aaron McKay who has turned into a great defender after having a horrid time against Monaghan last year he has been good in most games this year
