Kerry was the only team I really wanted to avoid.

Against the rest I think the wide open spaces of Croke Park favours us. With Murnin, Nugent and Turbitt fit alongside Duffy I think we are looking at 3 out of 4 of those in the inside line and Rian O’Neill at CHF.

Sheridan and Crealey have done very well over the past 2 weeks but I would still expect any opponent to go after us there as we are now wafer thin in terms of depth in midfield. A fit Connaire Mackin would be a great addition. Let’s hope the lad is ok.

Crealey and Sheridan going really well and Soupy, Murnin and Rian all good in the air and Duffy as well is fit to win kickouts. I think we aren’t too bad in that department.

O’Neill was listed to start but then Mackin was in a change. Sunday game said Mackin got injured in the warm up and O’Neill ended up playing.

Early to be calling predictions but this one will be a cracker i believe, both teams with great scoring capabilities and big open field like croker sure to be a shootout, and i will fancy our chances if that happens, interesting to see who will pick up conroy on the day, serious operator

I would say the Dubs will play on Saturday evening and they will keep Kerry v Mayo for 4pm on Sunday. So toss of a coin if we get Saturday or Sunday. I would prefer a double header on Sunday - we will be on first in any event.
Maybe I should do the pools (or the lotto).
Good double header on the Sunday!

I hope the GAA look at the cost of living crisis and the empty stadium last weekend when considering tickets prices , family packages etc . But I know they wont.

Don’t like the booing. Armagh supporters need to stamp it out. I have not seen it happen in the past to the extent we heard yesterday. We don’t need it.
I don't like to get into whataboutery too much, but I do remember hearing it occur to a greater extent and that was the 2003 semi final against Donegal. A long time ago I know, but just to point out-its not new. That day Donegal fans booed every free kick Oisin McConville attempted with some passion.
I would not get too worked up about the booing yesterday. We vastly outnumbered the Donegal support and there was little to drown out or counter the noise from our supporters. Also, dare I bring up again the league game and 'melee' that followed? For anyone who was there and seen events unfold that day will know Michael Murphy is a bona fide pantomine villain. He is not likely to top the list for receiving invitations from Armagh supporters to join them for afternoon tea. I am not condoning the booing. But it happens once in while. We were back in Clones on a big day again and at last we brought atmosphere. Ulster final anyone? Tense game but more noise and passion at a snooker tournament. I certainly wouldn't like to booing become part of the Armagh supporter make up but I am not bothered about yesterday. I note on 'other' discussion boards this issue is being taken up and fuelled by a few constants who really don't like us and always have something to nark about Armagh.
