I’m glad Clann Éireann put the statement out defending Tiernan and I’m assuming the Armagh County board are providing assistance as well . The only negative is that is keeping the story in the news cycle hopefully the upcoming matches will take over soon.

That’s the issue and I think the Rte podcast noted it, is that there is nothing on in terms of sports or entertainment in the news. If this was done in round 4 of the leagues when there are maybe 16+ other games being played, this wouldn’t have got half the publicly it’s received. Was just unfortunate timing and it didn’t help that the other 3 QFs were all duds

Derry’s McKinless was involved in an eye gouging incident in their league game with Galway which i didnt even know about until it was mentioned this week so I’d say you’re right

But I am so proud to come from Armagh. The orange wash of colour, noise and atmosphere we bring is truly, truly unique. I honestly think it is the nature of Irish begrudgery that rather than marvel and appreciate it, some media types choose to let it get under their skin
That free kick and the response of the crowd-iconic. Would make a great poster
I am proud of the lads. Left everything on the field. I am proud of us and what we brought to an event for the ages.
We will have more big days at Croker

What Galway fans can be seen in first photo are just drowned out in second.
Lad with the classes towards front, just behind the Mayo lass, that fella had no doubt it was going over
