Sorry I was wrongIs this right? Is it not only finalists?
from what i can gather on rteso how do they decide which fixtures are home / away / neutral
Yeah you want to be topping the group, be a big ask even if you did win a preliminary game to then face a team the following week who did top their group.Massive prize there if you win ulster. Really should go on to win that group and be straight into the quarter final, where you’d avoid Derry if they progress through the preliminary round and the other group winners. A significantly easier route to an AI semi final.
Alternatively, while Armagh or Derry should advance over Westmeath, it’ll likely not be in 1st place and the ego might take a couple of knocks along the way. Finish 3rd in that group and you could have to face Roscommon or Mayo in dr hyde or castlebar in the preliminary round, followed by either Kerry or Dublin in the quarter final.
Group 2 is fairly tough considering you would have to play Tyrone Away , Westmeath at home you would expect to manage, hopefully we are in group 4 , I'm assuming the 2v3 places is an open draw ?Either way we have avoided any “group of death” scenario
