Massive prize there if you win ulster. Really should go on to win that group and be straight into the quarter final, where you’d avoid Derry if they progress through the preliminary round and the other group winners. A significantly easier route to an AI semi final.

Alternatively, while Armagh or Derry should advance over Westmeath, it’ll likely not be in 1st place and the ego might take a couple of knocks along the way. Finish 3rd in that group and you could have to face Roscommon or Mayo in dr hyde or castlebar in the preliminary round, followed by either Kerry or Dublin in the quarter final.

Yeah you want to be topping the group, be a big ask even if you did win a preliminary game to then face a team the following week who did top their group.

Think no matter what group we end up in we shouldn't have a whole lot to fear. The Tyrone/Galway group does appear harder on paper. But would be good opportunity to get a bit of revenge on both of them after the past 12 months (Galway beating us on pens and Tyrone relegating us)

The other group I would be confident of beating all three teams. Donegal and Monaghan might be a bit tricky with it being Ulster teams. But the position they are in don't think they are capable of beating us. They would need to improve drastically on what they have shown to date
