I think you can offically tog out 30. Dont know why because outside the 26 they other 4 players cant come on.

Ulster final we had same i remember dara mc mullen and possibly joe sheridan wearing 29 and 30 during the warm up and taking full part

Tend to agree the Nugent thing is a bit odd. Nothing against him and would love to see him back to last years form as I think he helps us score goals, but imagine the extra 5 or 10% you might get out of someone being captain for the first time. We talk about fine margins all year.

I have a query, if the bookies favourites Rosscommon, Monaghan, Tyrone & Galway come through this weekend, then the draw is being made for the quarter final on Monday and Rosscommon get Kerry, Monaghan get Dublin do they scrap the draw and redo it because Armagh will then get either Tyrone or Galway? I don't think they do scrap it.
A similar situation happened in the Tailtean Cup and they did a complete redraw

No, they will be concerned with the teams involved in Croke Park.
It depends on who wins at the weekend. If Tyrone and Galway and Cork win, then we would be more likely to play Cork, as we cannot play Galway or Tyrone and Cork cannot get Dublin.
How can Cork not get Dublin?

Last year Derry played Clare in a double header with Cork vs Dublin on Saturday Armagh played Galway in double header with Kerry vs Mayo on Sunday

Tyrone - Donegal nothing to lose. Could be decided after additional time
Roscommon - depends on which Roscommon turns up. Cork nothing to lose and will be on a high after last weekends result
Mayo - can't see Kelly or Comer being able to play
Kildare - have Monaghan run out of steam and ideas?

Games this weekend are hard to predict. But will give it a go, Donegal will beat Tyrone. They are dangerous and that is a poor Tyrone team.

Roscommon will beat cork. Cork are an infuriating team, I think they have played their big game against Mayo and will struggle to back it up, hope I am wrong on this one.

Monaghan will take care of Kildare, Kildare are bottlers.

Mayo will beat Galway without Kelly. Comer will play though, he was fit to play against us, Galway just messed up the paperwork and medical certs from what I've read. It's also too early for mayo to bottle an entire season. Give that to a quarter final or semi final. They are croke park level bottlers.

That could be the difference between the two teams. One of the best footballers in the country. If he is fit Galway win.

I'm still not convinced by Mayo. I think they are a long way short of their 'bottler' teams.

Anyone who gets a bet up on the 4 winners this weekend fair play! I couldn't pick one team with total conviction. Roscommon arguably the team I'd say with the most obvious chance.

Are we sure about this?

I suspect this is a story that has grown legs and jogged a good long distance from the actual truth.

Comer and McHugh were named to play against us and could have played if fit. My understanding is that the paperwork to remove them from the 26 on medical grounds and add 2 alternatives was filed too late under the new rules. So the mess up was having to operate with a panel of 24, not being deprived of the services of Comer and McHugh.

These guys might be fit this week but they weren’t last week.

I predict wins for Donegal, Cork, Kildare and Galway - and then I hope we get Cork or Kildare in the semis
