Without an exhaustive check I couldn’t be definitive but I suspect it has never happened in the qualifiers years and the answer is therefore 1999

@McCoyDromintee just finished reading your article on RTE website and was great read.

Have to say think Geezer has done a great job and hoping we get a win today. If not there will be plenty of people calling for him to leave.

The closer it gets to throw in one minute I am confident that we will win comfortably and then the doubts start to creep in what if Monaghan manage to put in a big performance to knock us out.

The bookies have us at 1/2 to win and it not often they get it wrong. Here's hoping this is a time when they get it spot on.
