Is that the strongest bench we have had in over a decade. I know a couple are likely still missing but i can place the names. Disappointing that J kierans isnt on the bench, would like to have seen him get a bit of time in the league. Barry Mc Cambridge not named either.

Campbell, Turbitt, O neill, Murnin, O Hanlon, theres a forward line in that unit alone and a strong midfield in Grimley and Crealey on the bench. We have to make this season count.

I was sitting there thinking, are we hyping this team up or is it really that good?
For me the big news is the players that have come in and made an impact meaning lads of the calibre of those named on the bench can't make the team. Some are new and some have been knocking the door for a while but nobody can say any of the first 15 don't deserve to start.
I also don't think it's the Armagh fans who are hyping things, I actually think we are sort of in shock. Someone wrote that we were in total shock at half time in the Dublin game (which was absolutely correct) and I don't think that has really left. We are sort of flying an Armagh shock wave! And it feels great!!!!

A
Never mind what the team sheet is what's the weather forecast for tomorrow night
A warm day with temperatures reaching 32 by midday but cooler in the evening. Easterly breeze helping to cool the sun's rays.

R u mental, it's February in Ireland, it will be shite. Windy shite or wet shite or frosty shite but shite.

Anyway go and check yourself, I'm too busy giving out to you to do it.

We certainly are in a state of shock but need to get ourselves out of it and start settling in to our new reality - or what we hope will be our new reality. I always felt we should have had a conveyer belt of talent coming through from 2005 onwards but it never materialised. John Toal was a key player up until his career ended, Ronan Clarke was plagued with injuries etc.

Credit to McGeeney, he has brought in some real quality players and there would have been other players identified as county standard but didn't want to make the commitment. Some of these lads are in their early 20's, there is talk of them being better than 2002 generation and hopefully there are more talented players to come through in the coming years. Unlike his predecessors O'Rourke, McDonnell - McGeeney isn't putting a few players together he wants sustained success.

McCabe is missing from the panel - suspension.
