Other results today and the 3rd possible draw taking place not overly great results. You'd rather teams lose on opening day so that they're playing catch up.
But we will finish top of the league today

7 points needed to stay up this year. I think we can do to Kerry what we done to Dublin last night. I feel we have the beating of Monaghan and Donegal. Before the league i called Dublin, Monaghan and Donegal as games we would get points and after today's scores Im still off that opinion. Also, there is a serious player on Ciaran Mackin. Grimley will be looking over his shoulder. I will say this though, looking back over last night's game, we had a favourable ref and we still have a bit to go. The thing that is in our favour this year is that it really is wide open. Get the mentality right and we can do damage. Our players wont be found wanting for effort

Nothing really to add that hasn't been said, except now, just over 24 hours after the final whistle, we need to breathe.

That was quite possibly as bad a performance from a Dublin team as we've seen for a few years and we capitalised on it. Our movement and game plan were exceptional. It will have to be completely different for next week. They will not allow us to play the free football Dublin did and we risk getting hauled into a battle of attrition. We must use this new strength we have in our vision to outwit them'uns!

Yep that is completely stating the obvious, but even my tints allow me to stay grounded.

Ecstatic last night - yes
Euphoric last night - well yes
Easy drive home - kind of
Enjoyable - hell yes
Work to do - Oh yes

The best part is we had that win without being perfect. Had it been perfect we had nowhere else to go. At least the positive progression continues, but let's allow the lads to make mistakes AND learn. The goal never would have been stopped at any cost by anyone. It just simply bounced around like a pinball and as others said could have wen anywhere. Unfortunately for us it went in taking the gloss off a big win.

All that aside, beating the greatest team in a generation and maybe ever (regardless of how many players are no longer there or at the end of their careers) will do for now

Oh and it's great what a division 3 team can do when they put their shoulder to the wheel - referencing some who only post when we lose

On that point, the radio silence from some very vocal members when we lose is really deafening.
They all have their own forum on the dark web , they sit around watching Aertel waiting for the result for Armagh to lose and then hop on here, I infiltrated it once but those pesky kids found me out by making me watch a match and noticing the me smiling every time Armagh got a score , on the down season they make voodoo dolls of McGeeney and stick pins in them , that’s why he always looks like he’s in pain in the interviews .

what a performance on saturday every man 1-15 gave a great showing, was shocked how well crealey and mackin done for inexperienced players they bossed the midfield against arguably one of best midfielders ever. McKeever and donaghy deserve huge credit our defense looks much more solid this year whilst our kicking game wreaked havoc against dublin full back line donaghy finger prints all over it. The wide spaces of croker helped us and no doubt tyrone wont let us play the free flowing football we seen on saturday. Results didnt go our way yesterday but we should be pushing on now one win against dublin shouldnt define our season we need to put more wins together to become a serious contender. kildare who were being talked up as whipping boys looked really strong against kerry, div 1 going to be seriously compeitive

After watching a few of the other games over the weekend it has just dawned on me, and I know it is early in the season, but there is not a single team in the country that could touch us if we played liked that all season. Granted defensive issues could still come back and bite us on the arse and while we do consistently score big we need to maintain that ability to close games down.

It’s all about being able to consistently produce that level of performance and intensity. Hard to do. But at least we know we have it in us
