Linesmen in black is crazy and us in it
Linesman are useless in GAA... Time to get them out of there. Jarly taking a few digs and you can see from the cameras he is taking verbals and sly physical hits from some of the Tyrone players. The linesman has turned a blind eye to them

Good win. Excellent first half but too slow with the ball 2nd half, especially when coming out of defence when Tyrone pushed up. Looking like a serious team now and a great squad.
Great to beat that crowd!!

From RTE:27 of the 30 players involved and then referee David Gough sent off four Tyrone players and an Armagh one - in one go.
Things were simmering a bit in the second half, crowd also lending their voice, and then it kicked off.

A few observations from the game

Jarly was my MOTM today he was driving forward constantly and Tyrone didn't know how to deal with him. He was obviously targeted in this game as he was constantly being fouled on and off the ball. At one point the camera was on him and a Tyrone player was shouting at him. None of the officials gave him any protection throughout that game.

First half we were brilliant - what a joy it is watching Armagh play like this. But the dreaded second half and major concerns became apparent. We can't keep up the defensive intensity for the full 70 minutes and when we could be punished severely for this come the championship. We lost our was for 15 minutes of that second half, didn't manage the game when Tyrone was starting to build up momentum. I thought there were some unbelievable frees given to Tyrone and some that were way too elementary to be given away - my stream was not great admittedly but Tyrone could have been play-acting as usual. However, one could argue if they got a goal it would have changed the game. Tyrone didn't get themselves back into that game we let them.

If we win our next game against Monaghan it would probably mean we would only need a win against Kildare/Donegal meaning we can try a few things in prep for the championship whilst still playing competitive football. However, with the way the season is I would prefer winning every game but not at the expense of injuries/fatigue.

Great to get a second consecutive win over Tyrone

I would agree with a lot of what is said here especially About Jarly Og and it is clear that is a position he is thriving in , even in the first half there was a few digs thrown at him and he should have got more protection . I think the on the second half its very hard to repeat a performance like the first , Tyrone were going to come at us , they are All Ireland champions and although they might be a few weeks behind us in training they had a good team out their today. The fouls where a mixture of Fouls by us and They got a few soft ones , he had a few ones we should have got not given as well (soupy was clearly pulled back and never got a free) and they did get momentum , however I thought the fouling was smart at times . We have conceded countless goals with teams running at us through the middle and the players knew that if we didn't give away a goal we would win the match and the fouls stopped that from happening , its what Dublin did in their peak .

We frustrated Tyrone and that came out in the end with them . I was of the opinion before that this Tyrone team was a less cynical team than the previous teams of old and actually didn't really mind them but I didn't like what I saw today however that's the game .

I thought Tiernan Kelly was brilliant today and assumed he was taking off because of the yellow card . as well and I am so impressed with the fluidity in our team , how natural we are at scoring from 2-15 , sure we made a few mistakes and every team does but this is another great result .

The lads have a rest now and maybe a few other players will also come into the mix . Another 3 points and we should be safe . Rian's pass for the Goal was pure quality , we have such natural forwards , Jemar , Nugent ,Duffy, Grugan all put in a shift to help him . Aidan Forker brillant at the back. Exciting times . The only worry I have is that we are ahead of other teams in fitness and prep at the moment and we don't peak to soon .
