Junior Football League 2020

I think they'll happily sit back and forfeit their remaining fixtures with the championship trophy safely tucked away.
That said, as a county do we now forfeit games, share the points like earlier in the year, or postpone games?

If you forfeit, or do not field you lose the points and get a further 2 point deduction. The Belleek/Forkhill arrangement was agreed by both clubs, rather than just one party. Not that forkhill would be worried about that but realistically they'll be open again in a few days

Anyone any idea what’s happening with the promotion? Is the league going to split
League will split after each team plays each other once and junior A will be 7 teams and the remaining 6 will be in Junior B. Current points carry across as far as I know. Two teams will be promoted as well as Forkhill who won last year’s championship. If 2021s junior championship winner is outside the top 2 teams then only the league winner will be promoted with the 2021 championship winner and 2020 winner(Forkhill). 3 teams will be promoted this year. Forkhill will play intermediate championship this year. That is my understanding of it this year anyway but feel free to correct me if anyone knows more.

I'd imagine fixtures should be with clubs this week, hopefully by Thursday.

Armagh vs Monaghan scheduled for Saturday 17th so all games will likely recommence Sunday 18th.

Was hoping for a return on Friday 16th but probably not happen as it's a set break by county board. Off course clubs can change if they so wish.

@lumpitin that's correct, however I believe if the league winners do the double only 2 teams will go up.

STILL no junior fixtures out, an absolute complete and total bloody disgrace!
Couldn’t agree more, CB are a shambles. Based on fixture list sent out at the start of the year it looks like Junior games are scheduled for the next 6 Sundays for Junior A and 5 Sundays Junior B. If Armagh get to an Ulster final then 1st August game likely rescheduled for Sat 31st July. Good luck trying to figure out who you are playing though.
