I don't want to go through all the problems but I think there are still glaring problems that have been around for all of McGeeney's tenure and that is defence.

If we had more than one forward in the Tyrone half and had players trusted in defence the result would have been completely different. Having to use a blanket defence today shows how glaringly obvious the problem is. As much as I think Donaghy will help Armagh I am baffled as to why a top class defender wasn't brought in. Same for GK.
What top class defenders are out there that aren’t on the panel? What goalkeeper

Ah now ladies. I bring my cousin Arlene into the fold and get her to a big game. Then she loses her job because of her new found love of the sport. Even with all this orange blood making this my natural home you still have to bring it up EVERY year!! Ah well I don't just look like a rhino............

Oh and don't trust them @Taff Just like that they will turn on you. Just wait until the six nations and Wales wi.................Oh yeah!!
Ironically 2022 Six nations, I’m getting married the same day as that game in Dublin... wedding in Dundalk as well so it’s been fun ringing friends and family to book flights due to fans travelling wtc

I contact IRU and WRU but wouldn’t give me dates ffs

Customary yellow after 10 mins - seemed to be off the ball? Then subbed. Liability.
I'm almost certain someone said on Twitter he was lucky to stay on the field as he chinned someone right beside the linesman who called the ref right away on the radio thingy so could have been a red. Tried to find it again there, but can't so hopefully I'm wrong. To win against good opposition which we have craved for a long number of years now, we need a complete compliment of players all the time. Even losing Rory for ten minutes hurt us.

Ah now if only you'd have asked, then I wouldn't have been able to find out either!! :p

I know there's another thread for discussing that and we will, but I look forward to it coming around!!

I think Rory should be the C to be honest.

Give Campbell more of a free roll

Yep. Soupy plays better when he's free of the captain role. Was exactly the same with Aidan Forker. Once he got rid of the shackle he transformed. Now he's a leader without actually having to be one, if that makes sense.

Think they got him and kennedy mixed up tho
Yeah I'd say so Niall. Morgan came off almost immediately after being booked. He looked as if he was waiting to be sent to the line when the ref was looking around for him with his body language. Normally a player tries to hide, but he just stayed hunkered down.

Although they only managed to score 2 points during this period & we had the penalty chance to go 4 points up :( However I do totally agree that Rory out for 10 minutes was a big loss.

Disappointed in so many ways today. That Tyrone team won’t win anything but they still beat us. The missed penalty was huge but I’d like another look at the square ball as I thought they got that call wrong. In saying that it seems like the rules change weekly so who knows what the square ball rule is these days.

The injuries forced changes that otherwise wouldn’t have been made, so who knows what would’ve happened. Let’s hope they are all minor and everyone is available for next week.

The Monaghan draw does us no good as Donegal now need something from our game and I hate to be pessimistic but if they need the points, they’ll get them. But we probably knew we would have to fight to stay up and it looks that way. All good preparation for the championship I suppose.

Putting the result to one side, I caught sight of Brendy Donaghy on the screen near the end of the game and I just don’t know what is going on there. To leave a fit Donaghy on the bench while running out every other defender we had was criminal. Not sure what he did on Geezer but his loyalty to the county is unreal, anyone else would walk.

On the positive, staying up is still in our hands regardless of next weeks result. And hopefully we’ll be allowed in to see it.

Couple of players have been a massive let down since league started, firstly soupy as captain, yes he got a pen last week but was very disappointing, then today he give the ball away so many times it was criminal..and secondly Niall Grimley anonymous last week and tonight again, I actually said to myself have I missed niall being subbed in 2nd half until I seen him briefly with the ball in the 69th minute.. These senior players should be grabbing 1st division football with both hands after struggling in division 3 and 2 since they joined the panel and setting standards for the young talent we have at the minute, instead they are hiding behind their names and leaving it to the youngsters to carry us

I think you have to be at games to judge properly. They may be playing a role for the team that the television doesn't show. We also do not know if there are fitness issues.
