Far too easy for Mayo when they attack. Too many mistakes from Armagh carrying the ball into the tackle and not taking the scores.

Hate to say this but we desperately need a new goalkeeper. I think he should have saved the first and he's in no man's land for the second. David Clarke's save highlights the importance there

Think the season is over folks. Definitely need to work on our defence and goalkeeper. Armagh have dropped their heads since Mayo got the goal.

We’ve totally gone out of this game. Mayo’s big game experience coming to the fore now. Mayo are missing so many players but they know what they are at and have been playing at the highest level for years and it’s showing. We’ve got to make a big push here.

Sad our season has ended but seriously proud of the team. Armagh football is the best It’s been in so long. Agree with Orangeade that we are 2 or 3 players away from being a serious outfit.

It was the kickouts that cost us points. But it was also our inability to time tackles properly. That being said we shot ourselves in the foot quite a lot in that game.

It was Shields doing stupid things and then we are penalised by having a free moved forward.

Rian O'Neill still needs to develop, he missed so many opportunities.

I don't get why we did what we did at the end but things need to be thought out. I would have preferred someone to have composed themselves and just kick it.


We need a defence that works as a unit for 70+ minutes.

All in all it was a decent performance but it's the end of the road for us this year. If we can find a defence that works we will be a formidable team.

Good game - could have gone either way. Playing another season division 2 and the decision making under pressure will improve. Attempting shots from wrong positions cost us. We are a team on up when many around us will be going in opposite direction in the coming seasons
