Mckenna Cup

Might only be a McKenna cup game but there are no positives to be taken from it so far other than for Magill having good kickouts.

Imagine traveling to see that 2nd half, I'm all for giving boys a game, but 10 changes in a drawn game at half time was overkill ..

First half, with the exception of the soft goal, wad ok. Players were moving quite well and we had an obvious system.

2nd half is a waste of time - far too many changes all at once and we are totally disjointed.

Wonder if some people will be giving off for any criticism aimed at players after that 2nd half performance.

Few took offence at criticism being given after the antrim performance. Hope they take same attitude now

Shocking decision from management. McKenna cup game where spectators have travelled to and paid to watch and they decide to pull that stunt. Surely intercounty friendlies is the time and place to ‘give players a run’ where it’s behind closed doors. Paid a 10er to watch on tv and feel scamed, can’t imagine those who travelled a hour down the road on a cold wet January feel.

Personally don't have a problem with all the changes made and bringing on inexperience players.

Geezer has to do what he feel his best and with respect is not there to keep people happy who travel down to watch or pay to watch online.

His only focus is the development of the team. And he probably learnt a lot more today then he did against antrim or he would have with keeping strong team for 70 mins and winning by 12 points again.

Let us not forget it is only Janaury

The bad thing about the result is we have no more games now until the league starts, hope we have some challenge games lined up and not against Donegal.

I think we all know that sort of form will not be happening again for the rest of the season.

Kind of disappointing that we are not progressing from a group consisting only of Antrim and Cavan though
