Lads & lasses has anyone seen anything regarding what time the gates will be opening for the match on Saturday night? If there's only 2000 covered seats, like the majority of supporters I intend to be there early.

Usually it's 1hr 30mins or 1hr 15mins

Best place to park anyone, on the Newry side of town for a quicker get away if possible. Cant say I remember the last time I was in Blaney for a game....

Was going to take my 2 year old son with me on Saturday and just realising I will probably need a ticket for him. Anyone know where I could get one? Will they really turn a 2 year old away at the turnstiles?

How do we see this going?
Really looking forward to this.

Worries
Our inconsistency in the past. Maybe this is the season we shake that off. Trying to remember when we last won three games in a row.
Monaghan are a auld bogey team for us.Their first real competitive game under new manager-might give them bit of a bounce
They will be eyeing this game as one they need to win. Likely to come at us with all guns blazing

Possibilities
We blow them out of the water
Or
We get bogged down into a war of attrition and they grind out a draw or one point win

This is easy to say, but they have a capacity for legal and insurance purposes and you are telling them to ignore those rules.
Wise up - a 2 year old!!!
The GAA needs to get back to being what it should be - a sports and cultural organisation owned by the members for the members. Sit the 2 year old on your knee - and if anyone objects, tell them what to do.

Have to say tickets very tight for this game
Clubs only received 25 each
Must be a seriously restricted attendance

  1. Ethan Rafferty (Shea Magill)
  2. Aaron McKay (Ross Finn)
  3. Aidan Forker (Barry McCambridge)
  4. James Morgan (Ciaran Higgins)
  5. Conor O’Neill (Joe McElory)
  6. Greg McCabe (Conaire Mackin)
  7. Jarlath Og Burns (Ciaran O’Hanlon)
  8. Ben Crealey (Ciaran Mackin)
  9. Niall Grimley (Stephen Sheridan)
  10. Rory Grugan (Ross McQuillian)
  11. Tiernan Kelly (Justin Kiernan)
  12. Stefan Campbell (Jason Duffy)
  13. Aidan Nugent (Cian McConville)
  14. Rian O’Neill (Andrew Murnin)
  15. Conor Turbitt (Shane McPartland)
Serious depth and competition for places
My ideal starting 15 and in brackets a player / sub to cover off each position.

Here’s to hopefully a great year with the orchard county. As always we will bring the noise, colour and cheer #ArdMhachaAbu

I have great confidence in this squad, they should win by 5 or 6 points, even though Monaghan are always a hard team to beat at home they are in a period of change of management and squad members, so this should give a settled team like Armagh an advantage. Best of luck to players and management for the coming season.

Post is a great indicator of our strength in depth and there are probably players in brackets who others would have starting. Also considering injured players like Oisin O’Neill and developing players like Rice and Cian McConville to add to the list.

Is Joe McElroy back? If so thats a major positive addition his form for Harps was superb last year.

If we get our tactics right and play to our strengths we can easily be in the top half of the league and aiming for the latter stages of the AI.
