Good win for Ulster uni in sigerson final, Emmett Magee playing from clan eireann, any county player I talk to says that competition is the closest standard to count football, we have had some players play over the last 3 years with very few on the county panel. Hopefully they can start making more of a push, lads like Sean McCarthy, Sean rock, Kieran Hughes and Conor McConville among a few that havent played county after starting at that level
Paltry looking though compared to Tyrone's 7 starters. It was a good game with the goals having a massive impact.
Peter has obviously passed on his diving skills to the weans, any touch at all and they were reaching for the swimming goggles. The poor lad marking Daragh was left flabbergasted on a number of occasions with the referee's gullibleness.

Yeah Armagh generally don't have great numbers the last few years, seems like st Mary's has the bulk of players from Armagh, be good to see them push on and push to get on county panel, yeah some soft frees in the game but ref can't keep up with the game, you look at that Ulster team and 2 lads that start for Fermanagh on the team then the 2 caravans who start and young cush who will probably break through in next year or so the. Loughlin plays for Derry and the full back plays for Monaghan, standard is high so that all bodes well for young Magee to hopefully push on as it's in an area we could do with improvement and as he is just in uni so is still very young,

I hope your right with those changes, but we have a great bench there if needed,
Not that it really matters the way football is- McGrane was named in corner back the last day but spent a lot of time in our full forward line making runs to create space. Named positions don’t mean much.

I really hope that we go into this game in the right frame of mind, don't take Kildare lightly and get the win. Kildare have been bad to date and this is a game that we should win on paper. However, too often this is the type of game that we slip up in - when we are expected to win. If we have the right mind set, attack the game, don't think that it will just happen, then I think that will be even more of a positive than just getting the win. Kildare are a mess at the moment and are there for the taking. If we get another win here, then we are in a great position to get promoted. If we lose and then have Donegal coming to town, we are then under pressure not to lose that one, as we will then be two wins from four and will be in a fight for promotion.
