Very quiet on here and only 2 days until the Cavan match.
What will management's attitude be - go full blast or continue to get some players game time?
We need to beat Cavan to get promoted and then we can rest players and focus on the championship.
Go for it. Now. No messing for this one week and get job completed
Can enjoy the luxury of giving the panel a run out next week with no pressure.

You'd imagine management will be largely sticking to the same XV as we haven't had any more than 2 changes between any of the league games so far. A defeat would be an absolute disaster whilst promotion with a game to spare would be ideal. Predicament for management is that they must realise they need to get serious game time in to the likes rian, oisin, tiarnan kelly, mcquillan and probably mcpartlan as these are the players we need playing to win championship games in Croke Park later in the year.

The management will name the same team as they've done for the entire league, if there aren't any injuries. I doubt the bench will even change that much. Get the win, seal promotion and then use the final game to give some other panel members some game time. It is a concern how reliant we've been on the elder players in the team like Grugan, Murnin and Campbell and how they've played the vast majority of minutes during the league. I hope they aren't burnt out by the time we're hopefully into a deep Championship run.

If we manage to get materially ahead of Cavan then they can bring a couple on.
Still giving rain for Saturday.

Would like to see rian play a full game to get minutes into the legs ahead of championship. Who else do we think should be nailed on come championship that hasnt being playing regularly?

2 O’Neills would be nailed on starters for me. Duffy as well although hes played fair bit off the bench. Hard to call many others nailed on starters tbh.

Doesnt seem like he fancies oisin too much from what we have seen though i hope im wrong. Think our league team could be closer to geezers championship team than a lot think

Hard to justify many men losing their place in fairness anyone thats got a jersey at the minute is fully deserving. Nice problem to have.

Put Rian and Duffy into that team named (possibly for Crealey and Turbo or Conaty) and that could well be the championship team. I think he may well leave Murnin up top and will play Rian around midfield.

This game is HUGE. With the head to head rule defeat will all but guarantee another year in Division 2 while a win is promotion.....

I'd like to see after hopefully a win, the likes of oisin oneill, tiernan Kelly, Justin Kierans, Callum Cumiskey, Shane McPartlan, Ross mcquillan, Barry mccambridge all get starts v cork and maybe the first couple rounds of Ulster as these players all have massive potential and without minutes in legs won't get into form, after the Cavan game we need to rest the likes of grugan murnin Campbell and forker we know what they offer and can have them ready for all Ireland series but we need to give other lads game time
