I have been reading various comments on the Sheridan ‘stampgate’ saga here on on various social media outlets , firstly I was not at the game and was watching the match on a ( dodgy stream ) so i only seen it on by every one in work from other county’s shoving it in my face to show what dirty f**kers we all are in Armagh .
The incident looks bad and I am not condemning it in any way but I will say this about Stephen Sheridan he never struck me as a dirty player on the pitch , the fella also worked harder than most to break into the Armagh team over the years so I am sure that he regrets the hat he done and only he will know what went on in his head at the time.

People that know the lad will tell you that he eats sleeps and sweats blood all to play in the Armagh Jersey if more had this guys attitude over the years then we will be in a lot better place .

He made a mistake he’s not the first or won’t be the last to do so in the cauldron of county football , the trail by social media culture these day means that he will be reminded about that for a while to come , keyboard warriors will make sure of that and the GAA will ensure that he is well sanctioned because of its image . However he’s still a young man who I have been told thinks the world is against him at the moment , so maybe we should cut him some slack and all move on .

Good point - let him take his punishment and learn from this
He's a good lad & we'll support him when he is back

Why is our game 3pm other games at 2pm? should the last couple of games not be at the same time?plus a referee from Meath who's in our division should not be refereeing the Cork vs Donegal game with both of them team's in our division too

It’s only the last round of games that all start at the same time.

Really not confident about Saturday at all! You can't even hope for it to click as we're going up against the stalemate system. We'll need to be v v patient - especially in the stands!!
