Louth 8 points if they win against Westmeath they finish on 10 points too & finish top of the division cause of the head to head against Laois & Down

Nice spot.

Down in fact cannot go up at all. Win lose or Draw in the Westmeath and Loth game Down are staying in D3.

Head to Head is only used between 2 teams, it is PD if three teams are involved.

i know it's score difference when its 3 teams it still means Louth win the division if they beat westmeath.yes down can't go up cause other teams better score difference

Terrible performancw today, not sure what what type of game plan we had, why so defensive? Jesus and we give out about Fermanagh?!
Nobody really did themselves any justice today. Clarke and o neill improves things, but why are we playing Casey in ff? Don’t get me wrong he played fairly well, but was he gonna get us scores? Wouldn’t make anyone go out and buy their championship ticket early that one

Poor decision making cost us today. We caught two balls which would have given us attacking marks and didn’t take them.

Thought we were very open through the middle.
First fifteen minutes no energy indeed nothing changed til Jamie came on
For me we have been poor finishing games this year, we equalised and at that stage only one winner yet we give away an easy score and then a poor kickout cost us .
Disappointing as I had hoped we could keep on an upward curve

Agree with @Naka

I had hoped with the pressure off, we could put in a high intensity performance with the team starting to really get it together. It’s disappointing considering our next match is Down in Ulster.

I think today's game summarised the entire league.
At times today we were poor and at times very very good
As alluded by others match officiating was poor at times and costly
We should have won all our league games but didn't - even the Meath game

Today a number of players were rested but I think our strongest team is

Blaine Hughes
Ryan Kennedy
Aaron McKay
Paul Hughes
Greg McCabe
Brendan Donaghy
Aidan Forker
Oisin O'Neill
Niall Grimley
Jemar Hall
Rian O'Neill
Rory Grugan
Ethan Rafferty
Andrew Murnin
Jamie Clarke

That leaves - in no particular order:
Stefan Campbell
James Morgan
Aidan Nugent
Joe McElroy
Paddy Burns
Connaire Mackin
Charlie Vernon
Jarly Og Burns
Mark Shields
Pearse Casey
Jason Duffy
Ross Mcquillan
Jack Grugan
Ben Crealey
Ciaran Higgins

I'm sure there are more and a lot of variations to choose from.
I wouldn't be worried about today's performance - staying in division 2 was already secured.
If we could play with a little more composure we will beat Down and not fear either Monaghan or Cavan
Personally I wish we had done enough to gain promotion - to become better we must play better teams.
There are a lot of positives to take from the league and hopefully a good championship starts in 8 weeks or so.

That first half was embarrassing, like a bunch of lads who'd been up drinking til dawn. I accept we had nothing to play for but where was the pride in the jersey? 2nd half was better but it was obvious Deegan was was going to do everything in his power to get Cork over the line,
