Plan B just didn’t smell right to me. A special Congress, during covid with not all delegates in attendance. Seems like they were trying to push it through quickly while the country was punch-drunk.

I agree change is needed, but this is not it. It’s just change for the sake of change. And had it went through, there was no way back.

But I’m sure like the Lisbon Treaty, they’ll give it another rattle soon. Maybe they’ll chuck delegates a few lollipops or a free hat or something and get it through next time

Delighted proposal B has been rejected. Evidently something still needs to be done about the championship but this certainly was not the way to go about it.
