I for one would not particularly want to see Jamie Clarke back again. A great talent and class player on his day! I’ve moved on and I would say quite a few of his former county and club teammates have done so also.

Im not fussed on coffee anymore either, fancy gin, £4 tonic water, craft beer that gives you heartburn, skinny tracksuit bottoms that get stuck up your arse, at some stage you just get bored of types things and at the end of the day it hard to beat a good auld honest cup of tea!

So team unchanged from last day anyway. Not a easy place to go and win. Traffics usually a nightmare at it an all. Avoid ardee road works will add 30 minutes

Like @portadownarmaghfan I'm not making it to Mullingar today. The trip from Afghanistan is just a little bit too far to allow me to be back to work tomorrow - the Ardee roadworks really would be the least of my worries!!

Safe travels to all the great support heading that way. Remember to bring an extra water bottle to the game today to join in the fun with the Westmeath players and their water fight. In all seriousness, stay dignified if anyone does try to act the maggot and if you do get drawn, knock the living shite outta them :oops:

To the lads trying to get the 2 valuable points, knock the living shite out.............. I mean, give it your best and leave yourselves in a more comfortable position with a few tricky games still to come. Division 2 and a few days out in the sun would do nicely this year!!

Hurling just over pitch looks ok is artificial grass in square so few odd bounces in hurling when hit it
