I see it reported on Gaa Board that the 2018 season ticket will cost €120 and €30 for juveniles. If true the price is ridiculous. Based on last year's prices that would mean you get the 7 league matches - match cost €10 - total cost €70. First round championship €25. Total €95. Assuming the same €5 discount after to breakeven Armagh would need to reach league final or win 4 championship matches. The juvenile position is worse. So much for loyal supporters. Money seems to be more important.

That's mad.

Why don't they have a 'league only' ticket available? At least you know when and where your games are.

You could be anywhere in the qualifiers with a few days notice.

Unless you're a Dublin fan, with all your games on your doorstep and a guaranteed long summer, this ticket is pointless.

Using @Throwball 's maths, he's bang on and a complete waste. You can bet your life it was someone in an office with a pencil and a jotter writing some " revenue ideas" for 2018 and thought "I know a good figure that'll generate some money easily!" Never actually thought about it practically and possibly never ever been to a game. That or admission is gonna be sneaked up to €15 NFL, USFC €30 and qualifiers €20. Now that's a conspiracy theory, but unfortunately they bite you sometimes. Those Dublin expenses have to come from somewhere.

Oh and U16 should be completely free into any game, including all ticket games and the seats should be the same. Two adults and two kids = 2 x adult prices. Additional children with same adults £2/€2.50 each. Make that damn thing affordable and let's get families back in big numbers. If counties, including our own, want to spend £1m on whatever, let them raise it them selves. We shouldn't be subsidising Dublin or any other county

Update on season tickets. Just got an email about my renewal. The cost of the season tickets for division 3 and 4 will remain as last year. €99 adult. €20 juveniles. Price increase only applies to divisions 1 and 2!
Looks like admission prices to Div 1 & 2 are gonna increase  Maybe there was a massive backlash from Westmeath and Wexford

Memo to Geezer:

"If you get us promoted to division 2, we will find you and we will get you to pay for our season tickets next year!" Mortgage required to follow the NFL :p

Saw this today on GAA.ie. Having read the posts on here last night I was going to seriously rethink getting the Season ticket for next year, especially given my ongoing gripe regarding no senior citizen Season ticket  However the fact that our price has remained the same would encourage me to purchase again. Maybe, just maybe that defeat against Tipp did have a small silver lining

Have to disagree with green flag here. I did not get to see as many intermediate or junior games as I normally would but at senior level I feel I saw a number of players who could at least make the county panel. Rian O'Neill from Cross has to have a chance as does Cusack from Maghery and Karl Loughran and McShane from Harps. I think Kennedy and Jack Grugan from the Nab may be on the wider panel already. Nugent from Cullyhanna could make it too. From intermediate the Keady keeper looked useful and Shane O'Neill's had a useful forward. Silverbridge and Killeavy have a few useful players too.
I see a club All Star team is to be chosen in Armagh this year. Any ideas who could make that team?
Agree with throwball on this. Some good emerging talent was shown in the club c’ship this year I thought. Young Oliver from Harps a good prospect. As well as young Grimley from Madden. Also rate Nugent from Maghery, consistent player. Very compact and a very strong pair of legs on him!

I see there’s a double header with the ladies next Sunday. Great idea that. Ladies football really has moved on and good to watch.
