The whole tv rights / highlights is nonsense and has to evolve , they need to spilt up your hurling and football rights , have separate highlight shows and have them on Saturday and Sunday night and more importantly more on the pitch and less talk , they should have a separate analysis programme in the middle of the week I know @ragingbull might miss an hour of Love Island but so be it .

2 hours between hurling and football action plus analysis melts my head. I usually record TSG and watch during the week.

Plus if hurling is on first, it might be 10.30 before any football action, and I daren’t be up that late or Mrs M will take it out of my hide! It’s too late for kids too who want to see the highlights.

Split show possibly, hurling Sunday, football Monday. Or vice versa. And over at a reasonable hour.

No hurling this weekend tho. With all the provincial finals having been on live hopefully they start with the qualifiers. Namely us. I want to go to bed early

The problem with Oisin O’Neill his position would be midfield or half forward I believe geezer goes for pace in half forward and in midfield you have 2 very good players means he finds it hard to get in.. also he has had no pre season! Like I said the other day next season could be his year no doubting his football ability but county football is about pace so I believe his only position could be midfield and would you drop Grimley or Jarly og imo no..

If Murnin is injured (again) I think Oisin must now come into the reckoning. Every week that goes by he must be getting fitter. It’s a fitness thing I heard not that McGeeney first rate him. If Grimley is out it’s starting to look like he will be introduced some time soon. Ethan not at the races so I’d deffo have Oisin in over him.

I’m hoping for Offaly away then get Meath in a super 8 shoot out. Jesus Meath can’t shoot. They could have easily been leading at half time.
