The draw is subject to avoidance of repeat pairings, where feasible. Possible repeat pairings include Antrim v Tyrone, Longford v Kildare, Derry v Tyrone, Westmeath v Laois & Down v Armagh.

The fixture details (dates/times/venues) will be confirmed by the CCCC on Monday afternoon with the fixtures scheduled for weekend of June 29th & 30th. All matches in this round of the Football Championship will be ‘Winner on the Day’, if required.

GAA.ie has all the provisional fixtures listed for the Saturday. I would much prefer the Saturday, especially if we are travelling to Offaly ;):D

It looked on the highlights of the game that Rian O'Neill touched the ball on the ground for his 1st goal

I thought Nugent did, not Rian. Result is everything and being in the next round was key. Still work to do and couple of injuries to key players may be the difference the next round. With Grimleys injury maybe the time will come for Oisin O Neill to push on

I thought that too but wasn't sure and hadn't recorded it so couldn't check.

Delighted with the win, particularly for McGeeney. Monaghan will struggle in the coming years and I would expect to be swapping leagues with them after next season.

Some idiotic suggestions on here about donaghy and hall not deserving their places. Hall has been magnificent this season. Fair play to him.

I really would fancy our changes against anyone next week, although my confidence has been sadly misguided too often in recent seasons. I have a funny feeling it will be mayo (away). I can never remember playing them in the championship

Does Oisin O'Neill really warrant this much chat. It's Ross McQuillan all over again and the lads played no football this year.

The teams I want to avoid in the draw in the morning, Them uns, Mayo & Kildare. The team we will most likely get Them uns, Mayo or Kildare away :(
