Season Tickets 2024

It appears these are about to launch for 2024 and having had one every year I always found it great to have the assurance of access to games. Last year and unreserved seating in the athletic grounds have left a sour taste as we were better looked after as away supporters. So the question I have is do people still think these are worth while?

It's always been unreserved seating for season ticket holders - not sure what you're on about

Has there been something released about them?

I had one years ago and intend getting one again for next season now I'll get the use of it again.

I don't think there's much of a financial gain with them like there used to be, but worth it for convenience alone

A friend contacted HQ about the Season ticket & apparently they wil be available from early December.

Agree with this & as someone who attends all the matches this is why I continue to purchase the Season ticket.

You got a seat but! 3 homes games last year ended up on a terrace with kids and that was being there early as well.

No financial saving like before and need to attend all games like me to be worth while.

I no longer consider it to be worthwhile, but that's mainly personal. If through work or for any reason really you have to miss a game or two it can be just like giving the GAA money. It used to be a case of it saved the best part of 50% getting a season ticket. Unless i got it badly wrong it just about gives you a game with free entry. Maybe if there were the old style league semi and final and we qualified for them, then it's possibly different. For me I missed 3 games last year for the first time in I don't know how many years - may have been the first time ever I missed attending 3 in one season.

It was also fairly handy to get tickets for championship so I'm opting out this year. A number of good friends pay as they go and said there is no hassle getting the league tickets even just a few days before.

I found it great value a few years back.

My brother bought one, but couldn’t make a few of the games, so I used it. So, I got in for free, and he still got his ticket scanned to qualify for the championship tickets later on ;)

Hang on... am I in trouble with HQ for admitting that? In which case, I totally made all that up

I think the League final and All Ireland club final are free bonus games. One hopes that Armagh will be in the Div 2 final this year and I live in Kilmacud so I used the club final option lest year. As I do not live in Armagh it was handy to get the Ulster final tickets, and the tickets for the QFs were decent. But I had Covid last year and missed two games, so it is swings and roundabouts. There is perhaps one chance in 10 of reaching an AI final and the season ticket would be useful then.

Agree the seats should be allocated.
The technology is there to do it so why not.
There are some positives all the same and I was glad I had one last year.
Juvenile season tickets are good value
Gives you access to decent seats for Ulster Semi and Final and AI knockouts before they go on general sale (hopefully Armagh get to this stage again)
Guaranteed tickets for AI round robin stage should tickets be limited

Sometimes people go along with other people and the free seating suits them and they might go a home game with someone who does not bother going to Kerry, so doesn't have their own season ticket. Swings and roundabouts again.

And that could easily be accommodated for.
Don’t have to allocate all seated tickets.
Just have a section in the stand reserved for season ticket holders. Leave the rest of the stand unallocated.
That way you still have the choice to sit in the unallocated seating with your non season ticket holding mate
I think they would sell a lot more season tickets if there was a reserved section

What’s that about 7 matches for €100, and 4 matches for €65?

Absolutely shocking decision with the season ticket although given the Muppets that are running the lunatic asylum up there it's not surprising

The original season ticket was great value and what a season ticket should be

Now it's no value -- it's almost as if they don't want season tickets to be sold
