Cross were economical up front - if the bridge had been anywhere near as economical they'd have won by 5/6 points.
The ref, like all of them, blew some dubious frees for both teams but overall he got most right. Certainly the advantage rule could have been used more often.
Id agree that Cross will not win the championship - there are 2-3 better teams out there.

Cross are in transition as everyone knows apart from bookies lol but the team is basically the 3 in a row minor team plus the brilliant Arron and tony great for lads to learn from these players Jamie in nets needs time to fill big boots too but it's learning curve for U21 team more or less

Indeed Benny - into the last quarter, we led 2-10 to 0-08, but then conceded a bad goal when a long range free fell short and suddenly Killeavey had the wind in their sails. From memory, they managed to level the game until we broke away and won a penalty, after Ultan Lennon was taken down when one-on-one with the keeper. Ultan put the penalty away to leave three in it. However Killeavey notched another point and Harps' supporters were pleading for the final whistle at the end with Killeavey putting a high ball into the square which just went wide.

A win though is a win!

Wonder what has gone wrong with Clann Eireann. With all the good young players who have come through the ranks in recent years they were widely tipped to challenge for the title and now they can't even qualify in third place in a four team group
