No way Cross expected things to be as easy as that.
Anyone - maybe @bcb1 - know anything about Oisin O’Neill? Is he still out? Due back anytime soon?

I don't think he will be doing anything in 2022. I heard that he had an operation and was on crutches for a while. I imagine that he is more likely to next feature for Armagh, unless Cross do extremely well. His absence makes the performance on Friday night all the more creditable as he wold obviously add to any team if fit.

Speculating but he was named on the squad vs dromintee and looked like he was togged out with subs so can’t be a million miles away

It will probably become available for replay in a day or two for £5 as the games last week are. The £80 pass is not great value at this stage of the season.

Rumours that tomorrow’s game is off as there is no point either team showing up for the final. We’ll split second place and wish cross the best in Ulster!

This particular ref has his own set of rules and will get someone hurt.
At least he is fair to both sides. Some (most) refs in Armagh are shockingly biased.
Good to see a bit of contact allowed and players adapted quickly by avoiding bringing ball into tackle.
Thought however, Fallon started to give those multi player tackles as frees in the second half that he wasn’t giving in the first

I remember watching Killeavy in the senior final back in 1988 v Pearse Og. I don’t think they have been in a final since.

Have Granemore ever been in a Senior final?

Either way, one of them will be there on merit. And who knows what could happen...

I just think he allows far too much to go, he's built and his ego around it. I agree he doesn't show bias but he interrupts the rules very differently to me, maybe I'm wrong. I feel players know they get away with basically anything when he is ref. Players adapt by avoiding tackles but they also know they can leave a bit in every tackle and it won't be punished and that's not always good either.

Were you there as a Ogs fan or as a neutral

Well done Granemore, historic result. Didn’t watch the game but guessing that Killeavy must have ran out of luck?
