God knows it’s been a testing time. Just thought a bit of craic with a Sweepstake might lighten the load.

Anyone know scheduled dates for championship 2nd round? Working out work rotas and want to ensure I am free that weekend to take in a few games if possible, cheers

Exciting finish to game on Armagh tv tonight. Granemore will be happy to get points early especially with short season and league after championship

harps lost there way in second half and I think it was Ryan Rafferty ( onen to correction) came on and changed game for Granemore with a goal

probably as expected with tonight conditions and long break the skills were sloppy

A perfect storm! The knockout format, and results so far in Senior A and Senior B League games, would all suggest this could be the most open championship in years. Think any number of teams could win it, and that would also potentially include some Senior B teams. Exciting on a certain level......... unless some of the big guns are intentionally holding back.

It’ll be between Cross maghery or the nab

Watched Maghery play Og’s and they weren’t impressive at all, with Championship only a few weeks ago. Cross are Cross and may well do what Cross do, but hard to turn around I t around so much in a matter of weeks, if they have serious injury woes. Nab shouldn’t be far off. But will say other lesser names are going well and performing as well if not better than the so-called bigger names. But need the mentality that they can beat the bigger teams. The disrupted pre-season and season start appears to have been a great leveller. But you may we’ll be right, and perhaps just being hoping on my part.

Club Senior Championship

Sunday 9th August

St.Peters v Armagh Harps

In light of the ongoing crowd restrictions due to Covid-19, all Armagh Club Championship matches will be all-ticket games. This allows 100% of tickets to be purchased away from the grounds and will enable a controlled arrival of match day supporters without the need to collect cash on entry. We are currently in the process of setting up a new system and wish to inform clubs given the short timeframe for the upcoming championship games.

Ticketing Information:
Armagh GAA will work with My Ticket App to manage ticketing for our club championship games.

Ticket Allocation to clubs:
While crowd restrictions remain at 400 spectators, both competing clubs will be allocated an amount of tickets per club - this will require clubs to take orders for tickets from their members. Club secretaries must confirm in writing the amount of tickets they require.
More information will be communicated to clubs early next week in terms of the process for tickets and when orders need to be placed.
We are hoping the number of spectators to increase specifically for the Athletic Grounds next week.
We may also be able to offer general ticket sales through the My Ticket App.

Due to attendance restrictions and in order tofacilitate club members there will be no concessions on ticket prices at this time. Ticket price: £8 per person. All patrons entering the grounds must have a ticket.
