Surprising enough team. Patrick Burns only played in the last game of the league (I think), Ryan Kennedy and Charlie Vernon were in and out of the side, Jarly Og Burns and Aidan Nugent were rarely used and Ethan Rafferty only featured at the latter end of the league. Rafferty is the least surprising player from that list to see starting in my opinion. Greg McCabe, James Morgan, Stephen Sheridan, Niall Grimley, Mark Shields and Stefan Campbell are the players that I would have seen starting this game. So unless there are injuries, it's a surprise to see this team named, which makes me think that it won't start.
Individually yes each of those players probably are hard done by but if you where to start them all in the team then you wouldn’t be far off every championship team that has started for mcgeeney in the last 4 years in Ulster 0/4 . Think it’s time for new blood and shake it up a bit. Obviously they’re there on merit

I think Morgan, McCabe and Grimley will definitely start.

Grimley broke his hand a few weeks ago. I would have been surprised had he started, or if he does start

Three big surprises for me Burns over Morgan which is a tight call , Kennedy I’m at half back over Shields , Nugeny over Soup soup had a few poor days in the marshes so maybe that’s the thinking , putting Charlie in the middle with Jarly Og would make sense as he is more experienced than Sheridan but another tough call ....

As others have said we could see 4 changes who knows .

Jarly Og was involved in most of the league matches. However I would agree, surprising team selection.
