I think you nailed that one Niall. Lad said in interview he just felt he'd nothing too lose and went for it, or words similar meaning he simply backed himself. I agree. I'd love to see more of it rather than this safe shite we're served up with cross field "hold ball!"

Geezer gets sent to the stand for scaring the bejaysus outta the linesman while sitting at home watching the telebox coverage
McGrane gets sent off for being a gentleman
Oisin (McConville) gets a black card for scoring and sticking a finger in the air
Oisin gets a yellow card and then red card for a second offence of enjoying watching a point being scored by Rian O'Neill. He shouldn't have even been on commentary.
@bcb1 gets a red (again) just because!! (we all know them Cross' boyos are temperamental after getting married)
@Ouch It’s Francie gets a red for living "there"

Well if they are I would suspect that it would be Duffy and Kelly that would be displaced.
If we had Grimley or O’Neill in midfield I wouldn’t mind seeing McPartlan loitering around the half forward line.

He wasn't too hot in his cameos against Tyrone and Antrim. Albeit limited game time post injury hasn't helped.

Agreed. He is a highly intelligent player and him missing and our lack of goals in my view isn't a total coincidence. If fit enough would like to see him start as it can be harder to get into a game when you come on. If able he can get a good 40 or 50 mins that would stand to him in terms of recovery.

Yeah definitely agree with this. Sort of player that would take his man on as well and go for goal or create that space for someone else which as we saw on Sunday is vital.

Have I it right that Armagh cannot now be in Pot 3 given that this is for higher seeded league teams? Derry, Monaghan, Galway and Roscommon all are seeded higher than us. With Tyrone and Mayo in the pot already the two other places will go to the two losers from the above teams. So the “no shit Sherlock” preference has to be win Ulster re the AI series. I think there’s some confusion around whether the Ulster winners, draw the Leinster runners up from pot 2.

I’ve given trying to follow it all now lol so much can happen and you can be sure of a shock or 2 on the way. Not sure what to think about the groups given 3 teams go through anyway and you’re likely to be in a group with a no hoper. Although you definitely want to top the group to avoid a preliminary qf.
