I’d imagine so. How often it’s done, I don’t know.

And what’s the deal regarding close contacts? Team mates, family, Mason Mount etc?
Siege. Hopefully the lad doesn’t get ill with it.

Would be good if he was seen hugging a few Monaghan lads the other day abit like Mount alright…

Yeah, hopefully he’ll recover with no problems.

Are county players prone to going around hugging their opponents in the lead up to a match though? ;)

Young magill should slip in seamlessly.
Just hope our own support doesn't start heckling if a few kickouts don't find their man.
Give the lad a chance.
Mon Armagh!
Very true. Kick outs will be his key role and therefore key to any judgement. For us fans it’s ok to judge but maybe we should refrain from rushing to judgement. Give the lad time

The nerves are creeping in now , ain’t nothing like that championship buzz the night before. Hopefully the lads can use the hurt of Cavan semi few years back and last years semi and finally get over the hurdle to enjoy an Ulster final. Will be down in Galway watching with my jersey on hoping the locals have my back . Ard Mhacha Abu .

Jesus you would like to think everyone there tomorrow will be 100% supportive of the lad no matter what. He’s a young lad getting thrown in at the deep end. Best of luck to him.

Will be stuck in clare here myself (county clare).
Just hope the natives keep the TV on the same channel after their game.
Otherwise there might be a row as big as a fight.

I've a really bad feeling about tomorrow. Monaghan haven't lost a game since we beat them minus their key men. We will need to be at the top of our game.. the covid stuff doesn't help one bit! Good luck lads and management!

Thats what the soccerboys do . Feel sorry for BH just when he was getting into the groove as well . Big step up for the lad in goals but cometh the hour and all that lark . This would appear to put a 50/50 match into Monahan's favour . I remember when we played Monaghan in Casement Park a number of years ago Monaghan had an internal issue and Darren Hughes ended up between the sticks , we thought that all we had to do was turn up and they ripped us apart it was the start of a major barren spell for us maybe this is coming full circle now .

Monaghan are a better team than people give them credit for. They've prob best keeper in Ireland and a top-5 forward. Having spoke to a number of Monaghan lads recently, they really don't rate us that highly and see us as more of a banana skin. They're looking at an AI semi-final. We are better than what they think, hopefully we can back that up tomorrow.

Their cockiness irritates me!
