basically you want easy passage to the super 8sThe teams I want to avoid in the draw in the morning, Them uns, Mayo & Kildare. The team we will most likely get Them uns, Mayo or Kildare away

It looked on the highlights of the game that Rian O'Neill touched the ball on the ground for his 1st goal
True, but if you look at it another way, with such a potent midfield and a variety of scoring options now in attack, it might just be time to give Laois a lash.Don't want Laois. Lost to them too often this last while.
Does Oisin O'Neill really warrant this much chat. It's Ross McQuillan all over again and the lads played no football this year.
No point in the handy route to the super 8, there'll be no handy groups. If we got Kildare it wouldn't be a bad game. I don't think Kildare learnt an awful lot against Antrim but we have learned a lot from Monaghan.
Laois would not be a bad game to have. I think we are more developed than them but they would still be capable of beating us.
Tyrone are all over the place at the moment. While that might be a good thing a game against armagh might give them that motivation they need and they are a team that will just click. If they did beat us then they would go on a run to. Out of all the teams we could play these are the ones I want to avoid
Westmeath is getting a bit boring now. I fear we might go into this with too much confidence based on having the upper hand over them for the last few meetings.
Clare I feel would give us a test and right a wrong from the league game.
Mayo are the team I want. I think they are the ones most likely to give us an open game of football but how we defend will determine the result.
Offaly would probably be the dream draw if we want to get to round 4 but I don't think we will learn anything - no disrespect to Offaly.
If we get there we be there on merit regardless of who we play. Bit of a daft post reallyNo point in the handy route to the super 8, there'll be no handy groups.
If we're not there on merit no point being there
I thought the same thing in real time but if you look carefully he gets his right toe under the ball while his left knee is still on the groundI thought that too but wasn't sure and hadn't recorded it so couldn't check.

I would have to disagree and say that i think Oisin is on par with his brother for quality. I have seen a suggestion that Oisin lacks pace which i would also have to disagree with. I have seen a lot of him and Rian over the last few years with Cross and Oisin is big, strong, pacey and an excellent footballer who can kick a point from anywhere. With the injuries now he is bound to be in the reckoning for next weekend.Short answer is probably no. Don't get me wrong, Oisin has been lauded on this forum and has been touted as the new superstar etc...
There's no doubt he's a very good club footballer, but in reality, and when lads take off the rose tinted glasses, he's not the saviour of Armagh football. He's a second to his brother Rian. A fantastic footballer granted, but the calls to have him as a guaranteed first 15'er are way off the mark.
Very happy if I'm proved wrong all the same.
Not really. If you get Offaly and then Cork or Meath say, you wouldn't be prepared for the super 8..If we get there we be there on merit regardless of who we play. Bit of a daft post really
It doesn’t matter who we play. If we get there we will be there on meritNot really. If you get Offaly and then Cork or Meath say, you wouldn't be prepared for the super 8..
Thats my point.
