I can see a doubleheader in Thurles for the Cork and Roscommon games.
Armagh play in Clones
Mayo game - not sure

Cuts down on cost of travel, lack of hotel rooms in Dublin, cost of hotel rooms and so on
Yeah don’t think they’ll bring a big crowd. Other 2 games will be massive though.

Why are repeat pairings avoided at the QF stage but not here? Makes no sense.
I think it does make sense.

It prevents one particular outcome i.e. a rerun of the provincial final in back to back matches. Happened before with Tyrone and Derry. Derry win the Ulster championship but Tyrone got to the AI semi. Provincial championships are fighting for relevance and this small rule helps. No biggie

Same team to start v Donegal? Will Armagh do what Derry did and put Murphy on the back foot? Surely Donegal will counter this by placing him in the square?

Going to be extra tough without 3 lads who played against Donegal the 1st time

Oisin Oneill
Grimley
Connaire Mackin

And on the upside we go into this again as underdogs. Definitely will suit us.

As for where it's played! Who cares?? We're in it to win it and it's played on a big grass field with supporters around the outside. We'll play in in France..................hmmm maybe not!!

Oisin was out kicking balls so might be okay for bench maybe

On a completely separate note, I know I (among others) give themuns a hard run and rightly so but credit where it is due. I saw Conor McKenna and quite a few other Tyrone players getting lots of pictures taken with armagh supporting kids for quite a while after the game. Some even had pictures taken along with our lads and the kids (and some not so young kids!) I have to say I really enjoyed seeing that. Add it to the fantastic 27th minute applause and it shows we are more than just fierce rivals. I think I'll ease up on the abuse towards them. At least for the rest of this season and wish them well for whatever the remainder of the season has for them.

Yeah I reckon same team has to start, possibly Turbitt in from the start but hard to say anyone should be dropped after yesterday (assuming no injuries).

Any update on Mackin? A week probably too soon of a turn a round after concussion but as far as I’ve heard he is fine which is good.

O’Neill unlikely to feature at all?

We 100% need to do that. Thinking someone that can match him for height/able to win ball in the middle. Perhaps Sheridan?
