Mackin was MOTM for me but what do I know sureGrugan was good - as was Paddy Burns and McElroy, but I thought Mackin was outstanding. Half back suits him much better.

I’d prefer that. Newry or Armagh. Better than driving to Clones.I'm hearing talk of a coin toss coming from the opposition camp
It’s Player of the match now, apparently.Mackin was MOTM for me but what do I know sure
I know it was the expected result but this is a good summing up of things and a pretty accurate prediction. Fair play.Last night's game was dire. I expected a bit more from Down if I am being honest. An Antrim team savaged with injuries this year and Down couldn't put the game to bed.
Let's be honest, we are on the weakest off weak sides of the draw here. I normally give opposition respect, but I just cant see any other result today than Armagh winning comfortably against a poor Fermanagh team and Down leave a lot to be desired. Be looking at 8 - 10 points on fermanagh today. Don't think it will be a contest at all if we go about our business properly and put full effort in from start to finish
Yep. Clones really has seen better days. Reckon about 15,000 or so for the semi final, better having it in a full Armagh or Newry than a half empty Clones.I’d prefer that. Newry or Armagh. Better than driving to Clones.
If the games not there whos going to buy the Barry McGuigan crisps and the champion Milk ?Yep. Clones really has seen better days. Reckon about 15,000 or so for the semi final, better having it in a full Armagh or Newry than a half empty Clones.

Agree on the anaylsis piece a bit raw but interesting and insightful , also watched bits of the match I recorded on the BBC , I like Philly McMahon's insights however if you were playing a drinking game every time he says transition , you would be drunk for a week .Happy to see TSG attempt some decent analysis. Cavanagh and Flynn are far from the best analysts but I had no problem with their efforts on our game.
Thought the game was a bit weird. Mainly due to Fermanagh who were genuinely awful. We did our work early, completely bossed the middle third and if anything should have been further ahead at half time. Second half was laboured but if are going to do that, make sure the game is out of sight at half time, which it was.
Macklin was excellent. As was P Burns.
Should have too much for Down but I would expect them to be better than Fermanagh and also to better than Saturday.
Go at them hard, fast and early.
