Sincerely hope mackin is ok
The 27th minute applause was superb - I hope it brings a little comfort to their families
This was a superb Armagh display. The right team, tactics and effort from all players SHOULD NEVER be questioned after today.
No fear against next weekends opposition

Rte coverage did not show incident clearly at all during play and did not reshow it when break in play occurred. Fitzmaurice said collision caused by momentum. Hope it was accidental & Mackin is OK. Not nice to see a player stretchered off.

I thought Burns looked like ankle but I was on other side.
Not sure on Oisin and others missing if they are close for next week if we have lost 2
Saw someone say Rowland played for club last week would have liked him coming on today to steady the ship

Not mentioned here but thon myler boy is getting to Ricey levels of bad hoors diving and pulling arms up around his head

Over on Twittersphere it appears Connaire Mackin will be fine. He's being treated for a mild concussion and has been taken to hospital for X-rays and scans, but was speaking to the doctor after the incident was fully aware of what was going on even wanting to get back on the field. Hopefully that is accurate, but feels good to have read it. Oh and it's from someone I know well that would be informed

It was a bit to our right and definitely looked bad, but most certainly didn't seem malicious. That said I can see how anyone could react and say it was outrageous. To be fair his team mate was immediately calling for help for Mackin and helped get him on his side.

The game was intense and really physical. Sorry, but in my opinion the way it should be. Not full of filth, but good hard (mostly) clean tackling. Sometimes that spills over a little especially when it's a fierce rival, but definitely no quarter given today. Everyone to man left it on the field. No matter what happens next, I'm tremendously proud this evening. Back to the feeling we had during the league. We KNOW for certain we can mix it with good teams now and Donegal seems to have hurt ............ A lot!!

Oh and just for the record:
Defeated Tyrone in AG in Challenge game for charity this season
Defeated Tyrone in Omagh in McKenna Cup game this season (Oooooops :oops: Yes I edited that - got a bit excited but means we won home and away)
Defeated Tyrone in AG in League game this season
Defeated Tyrone in AG in championship game this season
Knocked the reigning all Ireland champions of their perch and ended their season. Sure they needed a wee break anyways!!
Just feels good to look at that even if I have gotten something wrong there. Proper bragging rights this year.

Super day! Brilliantly performance. All the aforementioned were outstanding and I think McCabe and Sheridan should get a shout too. Hopefully we can get some of the injured players back for the next day.

I think the draw is 2 pots with qualifiers from the weekend in one and beaten finalists in the other.

Also thought the ref was ok today and picked up on a few attempts at diving.

Can't wait to go again after that!

No intent whatsoever for challenge on Mackin. Fair play to McKiernan on his actions after by calling for doctors and putting Mackin in the recovery position within seconds of the incident.

Hopefully Mackin makes a speedy recovery.

The ref was very good to us today for a change.
