Bit of an overreaction on here and other places after one Match .There has been some great games of football in the past year two Ulster teams (Monaghan & us) probably had the game of the year . When the big teams get into Croke park the best attacking teams will win . Time to calm down as the scousers say .

It doesn't reward the attacking team who have just scored

How about the kickout after a score is from the small square and if it's a wide from the 21.
Kick outs now though usually mean a tap to the corner back, followed by 328 lateral hand passes. Then run into a wall of opponents, pass it backwards, then another 274 lateral hand passes.

Defensive setups, numbers back, congested play, rugby league style play all stems from the short kick out. Take that away, you have a different game.

Niall had to get surgery this morning. Hoping all goes well from now on. Hopefully one day he'll play for Madden and Armagh again.

More to life than football.
Absolutely. His health is the main priority here. If he can get back playing with no issues, that would be great too.

I remember a few years back Seán Cavanagh landing very awkwardly playing for themmuns. I was watching it thinking ohh frig, that’s a bad fall. I don’t think he came off or needed treatment, but it was just one of those innocuous things that can happen in the game (or training). So regardless of what team a player is on, nobody wants to see anyone hurt.

McCabe forker McKay
Og burns Morgan mackin
Sheridan crealy
Hall grugan Campbell
Turbitt R O'Neill nugent

I feel this is the team he will go with this weekend. Although I heard Sheridan has been playing at half forward. not at all confident that we will win. Would love to see Conor O'Neill and Ross McQuillan
Start would also like to see one of Higgins or mccambridge get more time maybe even mcgrane

I would like to see Oisin in midfield (rather than Sheridan) and either Shields or Conor O'Neil in place of Hall.
However, I suspect Geezer will pick the two I would rather see replaced!
I would love to see Rian and Turbo played close to their goals - make Tyrone worry about our best scorers.

Oisin in midfield would be a great call but I don't think it will happen

Tyrone are going to squeeze up and force us long a la Donegal so I'd hope Geezer and the team have been working on a kickout strategy... and a plan b.

Maybe it's just because of the Donegal performance but finding it hard to be positive about Sunday and that starting team appears v weak in comparison to Tyrone. I hope the lads prove me wrong.
Surely Ross McQ has to get a start at this stage - are we really going to pursue with starting weaker 'hard working' players over more talented lads?

No disrepect to Ross but what has he ever shown to warrant a start? I know his game time has been limited but he’d be down the pecking order for me.

Also lads call for Oisin O’Neill to start- is he not out with injury?

I'd rather give Ross a good run because he has potential and the most others have been tried for long enough. For me McQuillan, Conor turbitt, Conor O'Neill, tiernan Kelly should be starting every game when fit to get experience and get game time, as iv said we will never know how good they are or can be unless they play,

I think after some of the performances against Donegal, we should be giving a couple of lads like Ross a shot so that can show their worth. We can predict the 2 or 3 workers that will start and then be changed after 50 mins. I'd just like to see us be less one dimensional and mix it up a little. Maybe start with our strongest team for a change and let them at it. We are so obvious to plan against.

Oisin has had an serious Achilles injury all year and hasn’t been able to fully train , rest is what’s needed.
