While Armagh fans can be wick at the best of times, Translink/Iarnród Éireann surely to god know that when Armagh reach this stage that there’s going to be demand for the train. Logistically challenging for a Saturday no doubt, but surely a bit of joined-up thinking from the GAA and the railway companies wouldn’t go a miss.
GAAGo is a money racket and a legitimate grievance, Armagh have been lucky enough - some counties have really been shafted with their matches being behind paywalls.

I really don’t give a fiddlers about most of what you said cos you’re obviously an argumentative sort that would take issue with any reasonable point for the sake of it. But I will reference your comments re my dad. You have no clue re my dad’s health issues - I didn’t go into them - but I would’ve thought even an idiot would pick up on the fact having alluded to his age that his overall health dictates that watching a game on his own TV without various extra devices, streaming issues etc is much preferable and not too much to ask for our older generation. I felt exactly the same about sky but did not expect a national broadcaster to start charging for things they provided for free not long ago.
So do me a favour lad & belt up til you know what your talking about.

Again a lot of consistency so no massive surprises.
I hope that team does start. Not because it’s the team I would have named (the team I would have named is irrelevant because I haven’t been training with the guys for the past fortnight) but because I hate the idea of naming a guy for what is a massive match, knowing that he wasn’t actually going to start.
Not surprised that Higgins hasnt been named. Not that I think he isn’t good enough or didn’t do a sound job last day out. But on a horses for courses basis I think it was unlikely to start both him and McKay against Monaghan. That said he isn’t on the bench and must be injured. He would have been a good man to call upon if Monaghan went with 2 big men up top.

Higgins must be injured. I read interview during the week that Geezer said he felt Higgins was excellent against Galway. Think if he was fit he was a certain started.
No real shocks in the team named. O'Neil obviously back into the team. I know it was questioned would we start without him.
Expecting that we put a big performance in. I might look very foolish come Saturday night. But I cant see how we lose to this Monaghan team.
We are the better team and have better players across the pitch. We will nevet have a better chance to reach an All Ireland Semi Final.
But could you imagine if he didn't start and we lost. There would be some outcry from the supporters and the media.
I expect one change to be made before throw in. Would be shocked if Jarly Og doesn't come in for Cumiskey.

Listen, here is nor the time or place to discuss your fathers physical well being, and i wish him all the best. But is there any need for persoanl insults and suggesting i a m an idiot for making a highly reasonable claim? If your Dad is such a big Armagh fan, then surly you and/or your family would help him out and get him set up to watch the games on GAA GO. A ticket into the game on Saturday is costing £30, never mind fuel in the yoke and a bite to eat up in Dublin. The money saved by not attending games for whatever reason could go to the GAA GO subscription and set up. Where there is a will there is a way. I personally have commuted from London for every championship game this year, and i love it. It's a great excuse to get home and see my family (even for just a couple of hours lol) and i love watching my team in the flesh. Plus its class meeting up with all my friends and team mates and telling the right way of it pre and post game.
Anyways, up Armagh.
Agree completely with you on the above GAAMAD, if you really want to see the game you will find a way and the Gaa GO subscription is not that expensive for the amount of games you get over the year or it’s not that hard to set up dodgy firestick on a smart tv and watch it that way, any person for an older relative can do it to allow them to watch the game, I’ve done it myself the same with a lot of other people on here too I’m sure.

Dont get the GAAGO debate the same as i never got the sky debate. The simple fact is that before these subscription based platforms there was about half the amount of games shown. RTE show the same amount of games as they always did, now we get extra games to enjoy from these platforms. RTE is not a dedicated sports channel so you cant expect them to show every game.

Anyway it’s 2023, the only thing stopping rte from showing the games for free on a red button service is greed.
