Some bitter people on here.

I wished monaghan had won, this would have showed that we're not to far away and that dublin came back to the pack.

Does anyone think we would have done anything different had we been playing dublin today. We sat in against monaghan we would have surly sat in v dublin

We'd have beaten Dublin today

Thought Monaghan played well today and where McManus got the energy from to last the whole game where he played only second halfs recently

Folks, it's an AI final appearance down the drain once again for us.
This Dublin team have won their 6/7 AI's and at this stage are sitting ducks in every game bar the final. We could have won that game today with the wave of energy from our supporter's & a positive game plan.
It just emphasises how bad we got it wrong vs Monaghan - we should have pressed them from the off and just went for it. It would have been nick and tuck but I think we're better and would have beat them.
Hopefully next year management will TRUST and BELIEVE in their players against opposition we are better than and not overthink unless against superior opposition.
So frustrating!!!

Was impressed with a lot of what Monaghan did today. They play a system that suits the talent they have, are tactically astute, and have great belief in what they're doing. Ran out of steam at the end as Dublin upped the intensity a bit.
How do you feel Armagh would have fared today?

Winnable game but most likely defeated.

Dont agree. I dont believe we would have won that game today. We cant close a game out for one reason or another.

I believe we'd have envited the dubs on and they would have picked us off. The game was level with 10 to go and they only started to hit their stride. They broke beggan and with no disrespsct with ethan i belive they would have pressed him from the start.

Aramgh are a top 6 team but to push on they need to find some talent and a game plan that mixes kicking and running.

When you get to croke park its to big a pitch not to have a kicking game.

Maybe we were just found out by a decent Monaghan team in Croker.

What I liked about Monaghan was that they were prepared to engage in the tackle and they did take some risks.

To be fair they did lose trying to win something we could learn from. Not the losing bit though please!
They are a hardier team, we are a classier team.
We would have given the Dubs some rattle tonight and who knows what might have happened.
Geezer will be there next year - needs to think long & hard about his no.2. Mickey Graham would be a great no.2 - a smart man!!

They play to their strenghts and we dont.

People on here dishing monaghan and saying their not as good as us are just blinkered. You'd swear we're the best team since sliced bread.

Some on here need to wake up smell the coffee, no matter who is charge it could get worse before it gets better for us.

Would agree, I believe we have made progress in 2022 and were a top eight team. Think for the right reasons they collectively decided to tinker with tactics to push on and be a top four team ie: get to an AI semi final, but it had a negative impact on our attacking phases of the game. It just proves that the next phase in the development of this team is going to be the most difficult. There is no doubt there is more in this team and if we can get the balance right I believe we can beat any team, that's the conundrum for next year.
