It's certainly one factor in everything. Add in decision making and not actually going for it. Balance is the key word. For years we were open down the middle, last year I actually felt we had a better balance than this year. For all the talk of we changed tactics because of being open last year, we had a better balance. When Greg Mc Cabe was sent off against Galway we were 2 points down. Had his shoulder been timed perfectly, we were in possession on their 45 with players in space to reduce the deficit to 1. We were on top at that stage and I feel that we would have went on to win the game. For anyone saying we weren't on top at that stage, we had reduced the deficit from 4 to 2 points, and we had started winning alot of turnovers and primary possession. We changed approach this season as a result. I felt we didn't need too. We tend to overcompensate defensively or offensively based on what went wrong the previous season. What we need to do is stick to our own guns and let the opposition worry about us. Anyway.Would it be fair to say the losing of an Ulster final, a semi final yesterday, and a semi final today came down to not having a 'failsafe' kickout option when the game came down to the wire.
