Just to show what really happened at the end of the match. McShane fouled McCabe dragging him down by the neck when he got in front of him to the ball. McCabe went down and Burns went to pick up the ball and as he was bent over Harte came charging in from behind following with the knee into the side of Burns.

Video with highlighted points: McShane Foul and what started Melee

He was certainly implying something.

"It wasn't a good incident for us. It didn't suit us to get involved at that stage...in a sense the clock was critical to Armagh"
I'd like to think he was bemoaning the stupidity of his own players in starting a melee when they needed to concentrate on getting 2 goals. I don't think so though. Wee Peter was on the radio this evening moaning the bit as well by basically saying it started with 2 Armagh players on top of McShane. Maybe somebody should send him that video clip. McShane started the whole thing by pulling McCabe down on top of him.

It astounds me how biased Tyrone fans are on other GAA forums. Purposefully fabricating stories about Nugent trying to choke the life out of Sludden and Burns being to blame for the melee. They will fabricate any story to try and shift the blame on the opposition...The only reason I did those videos was to put them up on here and prove whose fault it was. Burns most certainly was not the instigator of any of that melee even though they were at him constantly. I think McCabe was red carded for grabbing a Tyrone player by the collar, I think it will be rescinded.

Absolutely nothing would astound me when it comes to that lot, sure no doubt they still think Marsden's sending off was justified  Don't get me started..........

Good work on the video!

Was talking to a Tyrone referee today ( Senior Club ref) and he said Gough was 100% right for sending them off. At least they all aren’t looking through red tinted glasses

Another fine example of tackling from Tyrone - Gough caught this one and gave Burns a Yellow. If Grugan's face was lower down that knee would have broke his nose. Burns was no bracing himself for impact that was a sly knee.

Absolutely brilliant work Paul. I actually thought this was accidental in real time but it clearly shows Burns lifting his left knee into Grugan's face.

Tyrone are the most disgusting advertisement of our beloved game. I make no secret of my hatred of their tactics when posting about them. Constantly diving as was so well evidenced in @Armagh_paul's slow motion video of McShane above. McShane (who I would have had thought of one of the lesser offenders) pulling McCabe down and making out as if he had been fouled. I am not in the least surprised that McGeary was sent off as he is a horrible gent. I was disgusted to see him win Player of the Year last year as he and Sludden are the biggest divers of them all with Peter Harte close behind. Indeed Harte had just pulled off one of his usual coups just minutes earlier after feeling the slightest of contacts. Maybe @Armagh_paul could do a slo-mo on that one too??
What I can't understand is how you feel good about winning if you have cheated but that maybe says it all when it comes to these individuals. Interestingly I was able to name 3 out of the 4 players who were sent off even before I could make them out. McKernan was an obvious one as he is a nasty piece of work who packs the full bag of hateful shit, I think he bought it from Ricey.

What we have to be mindful about now is Tyrone's antics have peaked the interests of officials in games. As if we didn't have the referees to worry about as it is, they are now going to call us out on every single foul we make. We are the in form team and this is going to have us marked for the rest of the championship.

Another incident that happened was the McKernan yellow card. It was Tyrone #9 I think who took Duffy out with a swinging punch to the gut. Gough gave the yellow to McKernan who took Forker down but the one who punched Burns got nothing. Slow Mo has me doubt he went for the ball, it looked more like a punch to me.

If you can give a precise time (in-game) I can. Way too many incidents in this game. I was looking at the two points Gough moved forward. Burns was running across a kick taker as he was taking the kick to mark a man. Gough moved this free forward closer to goal. The second one about 2 minutes later I do not have a clue why he moved it forward but I think Burns was baffled.

On a side note is the GK allowed to call for the mark when in his own goal?

The Peter Harte incident was around the 54.18 mark. It is clear that he leans into the arm of Soupy and is a regular one from him. I actually quickly went through all the cheaters scores in the second half just now and they are nearly all very dubious. The time when Burns is deemed to have run across the kicker is ridiculous as the kick was going backwards and short and Burns did not pass the kicker until the ball had gone. In light of all these decisions and the hateful ones antics our boys should be highly commended for holding their heads.
The other incidents happened at the below times (approx);
37.17
48.29
50.57
56.01
61.33
65.07

I have looked at that incident because it was a yellow and I think Gough was spot on with it. It was a swinging arm motion across the neck

37:17 not a foul. I think it was Mackin challenging for the ball in the air and McShane went down way too easy on the slightest of contact when coming down - you cant avoid contact when you are going for the ball and in the air. I will go on slow mo with this and show normal speed.

48:29 not a foul. I do not see any reason for that being given.

50:57 appears to be given against Forker who touched the shoulder of a Tyrone player who went down. Will need to look at this again as there were a few things happening and a number of Tyrone players falling to the floor. It seems these things are done in pairs to distract the referee.

56:01 should not have been given as Rowland released the ball as soon as he could. He was hardly given any time by Gough.

I think the other two incidents were discussed. I will do the slow mo thing on all these scores later

At the end of the game on Sunday I said to the man standing beside me that the fantastic football Armagh played in the first half would be totally overshadowed by the red card incidents and this has been totally proved to be the case

In many ways I actually think this is a good thing. Without the melee I feel we would now be being talked up to an unrealistic level with the hype becoming increasingly difficult to dampen.
Instead, David Gough, headlocks, who started what and appeals has become the national focus. Even the soft frees given against us that have been highlighted above are a positive.
At the game I felt the second half was very poor but on re watch Tyrone actually weren’t really that good.
They never looked like getting a goal and heavily relied on Gough blowing against us very quickly for Over carrying and then some soft frees at the end.
These also prevented a double digit victory. Again this isn’t a bad thing at all. It leaves loads to focus on and allows national pundits to focus on this ‘Armagh have a bigger body of work done’ narrative.
On this in the two league games our 1st half point difference is plus 19 and the second minus 8. If our fitness was so much better would these figures not be reversed ?
A lot of the praise being given is almost of a patronising nature, with these people feeling Armagh will soon drift back to their rightful position.
It’s up to the squad to prove this is certainly not the case.

Unsurprisingly the last 2 nights BBC 06 have shown the red card incident, still no mention of the score.
