Looks like the injury to Aimee Mackin had a big input but maybe, just maybe, the media actions of their chairperson played on the minds of all the players.
Regardless of where a game is played the grass is green, goalposts, and two teams will be there
Maybe, just maybe, the issue over venue could have been done behind the scenes and after the game. Once the venue was changed it wasn't going back.

The point is it should never have been changed in the first place.

Good work and the only bet I made to pay out. Let's hope that the men have a similar performance against Mayo, if required. One point will do.

That was a great decision by the referee to give the penalty at the end. I admit I didn’t see the jersey tug at first, but absolutely the correct decision.

Well done to the ladies. A great win. They hung in there when it looked like it just wasn’t going to be their day.
Well done. It was bit of a steal as Mayo looked to have it won, but that was a brave but correct call by the ref.
Nerveless by Aimee, after having missed a penalty earlier in the game

No talk of the ladies QF v Cork on Saturday.

Home advantage might prove crucial. A great opportunity to advance to the semi finals.

Hoping to attend the match on Saturday. It would be great to get a big crowd behind the team, as you say, a great chance to reach the All Ireland Semi Final. Ard Mhacha Abú!

Disappointing result. Armagh just aren't taking points and too many loose passes. Plenty of hard work but not getting the outcome from it.
Aimee Mackin a huge miss.

Went to the game today(first ladies game in ages) very enjoyable barring the result, not afraid to kick the ball, thought the ref had a poor enough game, Aimee would've probably got them over the line but it wasn't to be today, good save from the cork keeper near the end from blathain too

Thanks to all involved for their commitment throughout the season. Horrendous conditions today. Ref had a terrible match. Like the men's QF, Armagh had chances to win this game. Extra player for 10mins in second half yet couldn't score. Too many players playing as individuals + won't pass the ball to player in better position. Very frustrating.

Hard luck to the girls. Aimee Mackin a big miss there. Missed a lot of chances too.

Another quarter final defeat for the ladies, and yet not one person calling for heads to roll. Funny that.
Thats because hes moved from assistant to manager this year.

Some might say hes achieved more in his first year by winning div 2 and all ireland 1/4 final then some have in the best part of a decade...

Well done ladies - that was a v strong Cork side tonight- but not far away!
Surely, Pat, we'll give the manager at least 9 years before any judgement??

A tough day to be playing football, and Armagh got bit by the foul weather gods. First half we were playing against a strong wind that seemed to die down just before halftime, and then resurrected itself for the second half but changing directions so that our girls had to play against it again in the second half too. Aimee missing had a huge consequence for us, as did some mishandling of the ball. Cork with six points from frees and Armagh with two probably says enough about the officiating.
This team are a delight to watch and equal our men’s team in their work rate and effort, and we should be proud of them all!

The free count partly reflected a certain "Armagh" style of tackling by Armagh.
It is notable that Donegal who managed to beat Armagh in Ulster were well beaten by Dublin today. This competition could be Dublin v Kerry affair also.
