Paul Hughes maybe or forker worth a try on him?

Possibly alright, maybe even Morgan as I don't think Cavan have a massive threat in the full forward line. I don't even know if Reilly if overly quick but he is fantastic at creating space and gliding through tackles

AO means section A Open. DC is section D Covered. I am section LO. Anyone know how many sections they have in the Gerry Arthurs? sounds like i am stuck in the far corner.
You’re stuck in the corner! It goes to M I think. LO isn’t covered. DC is covered

That would be my starting team (considering Murnin and Oisin O'Neill are probably both a bit away from a full 70 mins and if Forker doesn't make it).

If Murinin is good for 30-35 minutes I'll be happy. If we don't need to risk him for that length I'd be even happier. Who knows we could potentially start with him and take an option off the bench to make an impact like Soupy the last day. But highly unlikely.

I would like to see Mackin get some game time. He was impressive in the league and I thought with all the changes in the Down game he'd have featured at some stage. Despite his poor game the last day out we all know that Ethan Rafferty is much better than that. If he started I would have no quarrels with it whatsoever.

I would be of the opinion that Grimley could be the difference. With him and O'Neill on long dead ball duties we will have two very capable free takers and of 45s. A major reason as to why we got over the line against Down was O'Neill's willingness to shoot from distance -unlike the disaster against Down in 2017 when it looked like we wouldn't shoot from outside the 21. Refreshing to see. I'll take young O'Neill (as he did against Down) hitting one short, 3 wide and 8 points every day.

It's very sad to see people being so critical of McKay. The lad was never a number 3 and McGeeney has moulded him into a very decent 3. For the critics I don't think the FB position has many options in the county. Some seem quick to have a go on here but what are the alternatives? Similar to the Blaine Hughes situation. I'd be confident he (McKay) will do well on Sunday. If we are leading McKiernan could play at 14 in the latter stages which would be a massive test for any full back.

There are keyboard warriors on this forum who look for negatives after the positives run out. Maybe it makes them feel like experts. It's fine for people to give their opinion but some of these 'experts' post negatives for the sake of posting. Quite a few lads underperformed against Down and we should all be hoping those same lads can (and will) up their game. They are all quality footballers. They wouldn't have made the panel or the starting team in the first place if not.

Best wishes to the lads on Sunday.

"We put Monaghan in their place, but now its time to move on lads. Bigger fish to fry!!
As the Armagh match gets closer I am feeling more and more confident of a comfortable win. This Cavan team has changed its mentality under MG and as supporters we need to up our expectations too. Armagh are a poor side in truth also. They have nobody to mark Madden, McKiernan, McVeety and Martin Reilly. Our backs can handle a set of forwards who couldn't do enough to win promotion this year, and have won only one Ulster championship match in 4 years.
I honestly think we will run them off the pitch in Clones. Cavan by 6 points plus, believe it"

Pinched shameless but this is the general vibe from the good folk of Cavan, hopefully that washes down to the players. The 4 forwards mentioned will take a lot of watching. Armagh are underdogs but I feel if they can stick in to around the 55 min mark they will pull through it. A lot of things can happen on the day, the ref/injuries/cards etc. Lets make it a sea of orange to get them over the line.

McKay was full back for st Mary’s when they won the Sigerson. I’m not a critic I’m actually a fan of his but it’s wrong to say he was never a full back
