Hard one for Eire og to take tonight, very good hard fought match throughout. We lost a couple of our big player to injury but had an unbelievable chance at the end to win the game which was inexplicably missed. Dubious black card in extra time changes the game and forkhill hit some nice scores. The punters got their money's worth but it's definitely one that got away for us. Best of luck to forkhill in the next round, really punished us when we went down to 14 and will feel confident going into the draw.

Was at the game tonight. Seen more of Éire Óg this year than most clubs. They should feel very agreeved at the refereeing of enda Mallon this evening. He gave a black card which changed the game on its head. In my opinion it could have been a yellow but he missed fouls all over the field from word go from both sides, to make such a decisive decision like that when it was so tight was wrong. Eireogatron is correct, Éire Óg had the chance to win it in normal time and didn’t take it. That is football

Fair play, I'm glad a neutral perspective watched the game and i didn't want to get into it but although we missed a chance to win the game, some decisions were incredible. Cest la vie

Great game in Armagh last night. A game that could of went either way. No.14 should of walked a lot earlier in the match for his antics on the field. I.e his strike to forkhills midfielder in the stomach. But he missed a lot on bother side.
Good luck to Forkhill in the next round..

Derrynoose very impressive. Far more fitter and organised than cross

certainly the better team. We are a young group and would have benefited from having a few of the lads who played senior but weren’t allowed to regrade. The sending off made a huge difference. Not saying we would have won but certainly were not as far off them as ten score would suggest. Couldn’t see the first booking but the second was silly when on a yellow.

Thought the ref was very poor. He did favour Derrynoose in the first half but some of his decisions for both teams in the second half were beyond understanding. One on a Derrynoose lad where he was yanked back by the shoulder was farcical. The clearest foul and possibly even a black card. I know we try to support refs as it’s not an easy job but seriously there needs to be some accountability

to be fair he wasn’t great for either team. I believe the boy who got sent off was yellow carded along with a derrynoose player for wrestling off the ball but had no errand hitting the derrynoose player late for the second yellow. Derrynoose moved the ball well and had the match ups spot on against the quick cross inside forward line

It was men against boys. Cross were more interested in leaving something on the player after every ball was released. The game was over before the sending off, Derrynoose were in complete control of the game throughout. The referee didn't favour either team. Conor McNally is a different class. Derrynoose looking like strong favourites for the championship now I'd say and will have learnt from last year's mistakes.

There's not much in it between them & Forkhill,a player can always look good when their team is winning easy ;)o_O

Couldn’t have put it any better. Forkhill still my favourites for championship though

He's been doing it year in year out and is probably the main reason for his team winning easy :D very hard to call between Belleek, Derrynoose and Forkhill but fancy Derrynoose to go one better than last year

The one concern I would have about Derrynoose is that they get carried away with yesterday’s result. Some of the fans where I was were celebrating like they’d win the AI. That was a very young Cross team with a goal to develop players for the senior team mostly.
