Not a football topic but good luck to our camogs tomorrow. Our ladies footballers and camogs have been a shining light throughout these difficult times and our footballers gaining promotion has been very positive also. I for one will be attending as many ladies football, camogie and hurling matches in the future as I can. It's about time we supported these teams as much as our mens footballers. They represent our county and provide fantastic entertainment and sense of pride for us all.

Well said. The ladies were Fantastic last week. They did the county proud. And I’m convinced there is an All Ireland in that team.

Best of luck to the camogs as well today. Any day a team represents Armagh in any final is a great day.

The conditioning of limericks players today was unreal.
Big, powerful runners who went at it the whole game
And they are a young team
Goes to show you can have all the skill you want but if you don't put the effort in and train properly you will not achieve - collectively

Yes they are well conditioned. But is hurling changing?

Maybe it was the lack of atmosphere, but I couldn’t really get into that match today. Seems to me there was a lack of action up top.

Players seem to take points from further out, maybe 60 or 70 metres. You have to admire their power and accuracy but I do enjoy action around the goalmouth. At times there was few forwards in the forward line. Maybe it’s a possession/no risk game now, no hoofing 50/50 balls inside for forwards to win.

Maybe as a handicap, or to stop them scoring from half a mile out, the ball should be heavier, or the players have to wear an eye patch or something. They’re just too damn good!

I think they may have to go to 13 a side at the top level

Making the ball heavier may result in more injuries - speed and weight

It is December and even croke parks pitch is suffering so the game follows suit

Next Saturday evening will tell a tale. It may suit Mayo more

Quick turnaround. Really disappointed that we won’t play Dublin and Kerry.

Without winning 2 games we are looking at a one off game with Galway or Roscommon to stay up

You’d like to think that by next year we’d have improved enough to beat the Rossies. Should be well able for them. Agreed that its shite we dont get to face the big boys

Hard to know what way things are with this league. Realistically, we have to beat one of galway, roscommon or kerry to stay up unless we beat both Monaghan and Tyrone. I would think that donegal would finish top in our section. It will be interesting to see what way the fixtures are realeased for this. I would hope if we avoid playing Donegal first that we could potentially catch a cold tyrone on the hop, and i think that we are a match for Monaghan (then the realism kicks in again)

Why should we overtake Roscommon? They've been easily the better team the last few times we've played them

Should have beaten them in the league this year only for our usual falling apart stage, gave them a good game in the championship 2018 but fell away late on. We should definitely be aiming to be on their level- not saying it’s a given but if we’re not improving then questions need asking.

I do not think we would have collapsed quite as much in that second half had we have had a warm up game the week before like they did. It certainly helped them.

That's 100%, I misinterpreted and thought you were saying it was just guaranteed we'd be better
