Bad news about Rian.
Looking at the fixture dates, 6 weeks will rule him out up to and including the Ulster Semi should we get that far.
Disaster
Loss surely but it's all about the AI series this year so hopefully he's flying for that. The provincials are all but dead for the top teams.

Some of the best forwards ever were ‘a wee bit light’, colm cooper and jamie Clarke spring to mind but could name many more.

He’d of been marked by county level players in the Armagh senior championship so worthy of a shot at least.
Jim himself was never the biggest either, showing the age now

I seen armagh training last year before they played donegal.

They had two team with rain nugent and the other suspended players in the B team. The A team was what they expected to play had the ban not been over turned.

Having a sisters boyfriend playing county football he also confirmed they do A v B games for the reason i stated about.

To me very strange but what would i know
You’d imagine you want the A team playing together to work on different set ups and get used to playing together etc,

I understand that, but then No 25 comes in who's never played with some of the players and asked to do a certain role.

Sometimes the B team mimic the opposition and try play the way they are going to. Very hard been a sub to come in and make an impact if that makes sense.

With the modern game it’s very important to have a big squad to cope but losses of key players , unfortunately we have lost our main man , but we have to get on with it and play with the cards we are dealt with , hopefully Rian makes a strong recovery and the lads can bring us through to the latter stages on the Ulster championship where we can play some part.

Two lefty’s
Grugan will take all the left side kicks and Aiden Nugent will take the other side and the 50s
Rian's free taking has been patchy this year so not a bad thing to try out plan B on the right.
Most teams in div 1 have played a few games without their main men so we haven't really got off too bad. Hopefully he gets fully fit and ready for the AI group stages.

Too much responsibility on Rian lately, time for others to grab the proverbial bull by the horns (not ragingbull).

Today has been a whirlwind of a day with all these rumours floating about. Even ITV news spoke about Rian tonight. Hope to fu*k it’s a push on for the team and they can put everything that is circulating to the back of their minds now and get ready for Sunday. If Rian isn’t fit and is injured, it is an absolute shame and I hope he has a speedy recovery but we will take it on the chin. Really hope we come away from Omagh with the 2 points. God knows we need them, not to stay safe, but to get the lads confidence back up!

Have to say there has been some utter crap posted on here the past 48 hours.

If some people want to feel important by posting nothing more than back page gossip than guess that's up to them. But personally i have got fed up reading it.

And many claim that we have the best fans in Ireland. Well just look at the last 5 pages and ask yourself that question again.

What was the question again?

It funny how all the articles are posted on social media but not one quote from the Armagh team or management. So would it be rubbish....would it be the GAA rumour mill???
