I’ll throw in my tuppence worth and it will likely be an unpopular opinion.
Meath were extremely poor and just resorted to hoofing it into the big lads in FF. so let’s take this hammering with a pinch of salt.
McConville played well but bloody hell he’s a greedy bugger. If he shifted the ball early twice (instead of running in circles) we would have had two goals. Young McGrane was so obvious. The lad sprinted from his own 21 and was clean through - how he did not pass that I dunno. It’s not the first time McGrane did this either. Last week too he did it & didn’t get the pass (can’t recall who didn’t pass it that time, maybe Jarly).
And Burns towards the end. If that’s a Dublin, Derry or Kerry that ball is shifted to the right & in the back of the net. We need to be more clinical not just a safe option.
I don’t get Oneill at 10. Surely we can play a forward there who can penetrate & take a score. What exactly defies he give us at 10. He’s a natural defender.
On a separate note lads, how many would accept Mickey Harte as the Armagh manager??? That was strange yesterday……imagine being from Tyrone and looking at that.
