That's a good team and it's refreshing to see competition for places, especially in defence. James Morgan, Greg McCabe, Mark Shields and Connaire Mackin have all been regulars through the league and even though some of them may start tomorrow, having Patrick Burns back tomorrow, the return of Hughes a few weeks ago and Donaghy and Forker back last week and Kennedy playing well, has given us a wide range of options.
Burns, Grimley and Vernon did very well in midfield last week by all accounts, so good to see them all start again. Slightly surprised to see Pearse Casey named, with Rafferty and Campbell seemingly back to fitness. Maybe they will start or McGeeney still doesn't think they are ready.
I really hope we finish the season on a high tomorrow. I remember last year against Wexford when we had secured promotion and then went out and lost to the worst team in the league. Cork need to win tomorrow and always have a big game in them. They have some really good players and should be up for this. I always want Armagh to win, but I think that we can finish as high as third tomorrow if Fermanagh lose away to Meath and Kildare lose away to Donegal. Getting a third place finish would be a pleasing achievement, giving the team a good boost going into the Championship and a good barometer to go by for next season.
