Glass half full…..
-Scoring 20 points
- great scoring returns from Turbo & McPartand
- Crealy & Morgan back

Glass half Empty…..
-No goals (again)
- conceded a goal & other goal chances v a poor opponent
- too many basic handling errors.

I suppose it depends on your outlook.
Looking forward to a day out in Cavan in a fortnight with a win under the belt and greater buzz from the fans. Maybe even a bit warmer

Lads need to calm their heads here.

Some of the talk of positives is off the mark. Some of the players mentioned as positive looked borderline off the pace and this was a game of almost no opposition.

As for the negative posters they largely seem to have posted during the match and I am going to guess that they watched the match on the tv. Yes there were mistakes and turnovers but this was a match with little intensity and as curious as it might seem that leads to more errors for want of intensity.

There were no big positives. No big negatives. Matched chalked off. Little if any harm done. Lads protected and given 2 more weeks for recovery. We move on. Chill
Yeah on to the next one. Miles in the legs and into a winning habit which is invaluable for team confidence. They are brutal.

What could have been a banana skin proved to be a well-manss as a well-managed training game. Such games used to be a quarter of Kerry’s All-Ireland winning runs.

Great to see Turbo coming of age, McPartlan gives a further option in the middle, opponents will have learnt little, satisfactory all round in these regards.

The Saffrons were also we, now for the Battle of Breffni!

Antrim really were disappointing. They played that match like a dead rubber McKenna cup game or something

With a players back after sitting out yesterday we should be capable of seeing off Cavan but then again it all depends on how we’re set up…

We got the job done yesterday with the minimum of fuss, against an abject Antrim side. We had a couple of really good performances, some key players back and racked up a big score. Obviously there were a lot of mistakes and handling errors, that on other days will cost us. When it's that easy and the teams so mismatched it's easy to drop your level and I think that was reflected in the game. Antrim are awful. I've seen that exact same performance from them for years now. They have very few inter county standard players. Missing Murnin, Burns, Grimley and O'Neill was't ideal, probably contributed to our performance and the sooner they are back the better. In that first half, we left 1-5 behind and those were all clear cut scoring chances. So being more clinical is something to work on for the Cavan match. Not getting at least two goals against a weak Antrim side was irritating. McPartlan did well on his debut and kicking four points will be a massive boost. He doesn't look the quickest, but works hard and obviously can score. Turbitt was outstanding. Great to see James Morgan as he brings so much to the side. Ben Crealey does so much dirty work around the middle that goes unnoticed and is a key player. Cavan is a real test, but if this team really wants to make a mark, it's one that we should be passing.

I don't think the game told us much other than we still can't score goals. However, a win is a win and still in Ulster.

Watched the game on iplayer last night.
Cameras captured clear discord on the bench-see approx 38mins 28secs of recording.
Joe McElroy asks Jarly Og to share his bag of sweets. Might have been Starburst, called Opel Fruits in the auld days. Joe might have taken an orange one. Jarly Og didn't look happy.
We'll see how this pans out

Jarly Og has flu according to a "reliable source" (his Dad, see interview prior to match) so he should be available for Cavan.
