I wonder why that is, that's poor on their part.

I think it's ridiculous that you can't choose where you'd like to sit. At the minute I could be paying 25 euro to be stuck in the corner possibly in the lashing rain, hardly rewarding Season ticket holders is it
God forbid your not on the half way line. Watch it in the house then should be nice and dry in there.

Thanks for your "kindly" response but I'm moreso thinking of my Dad who is over 80 & a Season ticket holder who has already travelled to both Roscommon & Kerry this Season & to be honest I don't think he should have to sit out in the rain. Also we never sit on the half way line.

In as much as you could sympathise with your predicament the fact is that most GAA stadia don't have the facilities.

For Armagh games league etc it seems the season ticket holders get good seats. And as the national League was first come first served queueing paid off.
The usfc is an Ulster council game. Seats are pre-allocated. They'll look after sponsors, county personnel, Ulster council personnel, the teams, invited guests and so on.
If the covered stand can't hold them then they'll have to sit in the open like everyone else. So I guess that's where season ticket holders are placed
Maybe there should be a season ticket plus that means you get a covered seat but you'd pay more for it.

The athletic Grounds has a great seated stand - we're lucky to have it.

That’s bad form. Season ticket holders should get priority and decent seats ffs it’s not much to ask.

Hope ye get lucky with your allocation.

Purchased uncovered tickets last night so just hoping it doesn't rain & if it does it will be our 2nd soaking in Breffni Park this year
Mind you I did hit luckier than those who purchased their uncovered seated tickets on Wednesday, charged 25 euros when it should have been 20!!

Unbelievable
From an article with nothing in it you've decided that.

As much as social media is great it's also created a huge amount of people who can't think for themselves.
I would think he is out from the initial reports from when it happened 6-8 weeks and tbh even if he was close I wouldn't risk him

Some sympathy with JoeH’s point of view.

The SportsJoe article says nothing.

If the headline read “Oisin McConville makes non-definitive statement about nephew’s availability for match” then it would have been on the mark.

The article is classic filler. No more informative that soccer transfer rumours on the back page of The Sun.

There is a demand to read this filler but it’s hardly informative.

Not saying it’s harmful, just useless.

Our under age teams are dung
Constructive.

Underage success is completely overrated. That said the natural order of things would be that we should have a moderately successful team now and again. I accept that we do seem to be operating below average for a while now but imho the measure of underage structures is not in silverware.

You could harvest silverware with a Jim McGuinness style set up. You wouldn’t develop any footballers though and many of the lads would be disillusioned with the game by the time they were in their projected prime.

Our underage structures are not achieving wins. Our club game is as poor as it’s been in a long time. Yet in all our senior panel is as deep as it probably ever been (our very best players may not be as strong as our greatest ever sides but our panel depth is the best I have seen).

I would like more underage success.

I would like a stronger club game up to and including more/some/any Ulster club victories but not at all cost. It’s more important that we produce footballers than winners. You can make a winner out of a footballer a lot easier that trying to make a footballer out of pre-programmed winner.
