Coalisland had a man sent off for a straight red for spitting on our physios face.
@bcb1 I’ve heard this repeatedly today from numerous people and your post seems to be their source. While you have corrected your obvious error in a later post it might be advisable to edit or delete the original claim. You are both a well respected contributor on the forum and close to cross so many have taken your words as accurate and repeated them.
On the game, Coalisland don’t have the forwards to win games at this level. I actually thought many of the wides came under little or no pressure and they never threatened the cross goal. Cross have inter county standard players the full length of the field and had they taken one of their goal chances they would probably have kicked on.
As for the ‘dark arts’ both teams at it all over the place and while I agree the referee was poor there could easily have been more sent of as several players on yellow cards committed further yellow card offences.
I predicted Cross would win Ulster this year and I’ll stand by that. Last night was the worst I’ve seen them in a while but the game will stand to them.
well i would rather be from the other side of the blackwater river than from keady!Well they're from the wrong side of the Blackwater river, wouldn't expect anything else!

Be interesting to see if Healy park has better drainage system in since last visit Armagh v Derry U21s when we were sent home at throwin and they going to play 2 games in mid November optimistic ...Crossmaglen won't be happy having to go to Omagh

I'm lead to believe it's more to do with antics off the field rather than on it as the ref dealt with all issues with the players. I can't guarantee it's 100% accurate, but something to do with stewards being abused verbally and maybe physically, but that depends on interpretation. It's possibly best not to speculate more in case there is an "investigation!"i see The Ulster Council is set to investigate Saturday night's ill-disciplined club quarter-final between Coalisland and Crossmaglen Rangers

And nobody could see what actually happenedThere was a bit of a scene at the Coalisland sub area in second half - most of the stand were on their feet to see what is going on.

That's accurate and the culprit has been identified. Here's the killer, supposedly there's no sanction for theft in GAA rules. It's being looked at as "physically interfering with a match official"You are on the right track. Apparently the 4th Officials notes went missing !!

There were other more serious incidents sadlyit is alleged that a steward was struck by a member of the Fianna squad/mgt.
